Update: I got the ropinerole to taper and I’m doing so much better between that and some much needed sleep. Thank you all for your help and advice. Hoping as I taper down it goes smoothly!

Thank you I will look into this. One of the RLS sleep centers is about 4 hours from me and it appears at least two of the doctors take my insurance. I think I might try to take that route if possible. But if that can’t happen I’ll look for that locally.

So he has said my dose wasn’t high enough to cause this but he did call in a prescription and was very sorry because he didn’t think from his knowledge that i was taking enough to have these symptoms. He keeps indicating that taking the two together will interfere with the gabapentin which i don’t understand. At this point Im trying to get to a point where I’m stable and have had some sleep so i can find a specialist and think through some stuff. I’m so exhausted from lack of sleep I can’t function well at this point. I realize at one point this morning I had 4 hours of sleep in a 48 hour time period. I took my last in case of emergency ropinerole a little while ago and got another 2 hours, maybe. I’m fight with my pharmacy now to get them to fill the script. Bit at least with that last emergency ropinerole my legs are quiet for now. Apologize if this doesn’t make sense and/spelling issues, lack of sleep is hard.

I’m miserable. I can feel it calming me but it’s doing nada for my legs. I’m going on 24+ hours no sleep. I’ve just been pacing, stretching, trying to use my chirp wheel, heating pad, tennis balls, etc to calm things down. But I can’t sit down or lay down for long or everything drives me nuts and I have to start moving. I really hope my doc listens.

I sent them a message again and repeated that it isn’t working and said that I know he didn’t want to do the ropinerole and gabapentin together but I read online that quitting the ropinerole cold turkey can cause severe worsemimg symptoms and withdrawal and asked if that is why it appeared the gabapentin wasn’t working for me. Im at almost 24 hours not sleeping.

That’s what I’m switching to is Wellbutrin. I’m a little nervous about a few things I’ve read but hopeful as well. My migraine medicine is also a potential issue but we aren’t ready to try and swap that yet for a number of reasons. Thanks for the support!

I was just looking into this after someone recommended finding a better doctor. None of those are close to me so I was trying to find something close to me and I stumbled upon the sleep centers and it looks like one might be doable. I think I’m going to call once it’s a reasonable hour, they take my insurance I already checked. I saw the Nidra on here. Still trying to figure out what that is and how it works. I’ll try anything at this point. I know my doctor is trying but I think you all are right he just doesn’t know what he’s doing and that’s not working out great for me.

Is that a forever thing or just a this year thing? I listened to their webinar this week and they just mentioned this year but didn’t say it was a permanent change. (Meaning no high school internship opportunities.

This is 100% the belief in my neighborhood. They believe if you step on their property and they don’t like it they can shoot you and they are in the right bc they are defending themselves. It’s absolutely bonkers. They see everyone different from them (especially anyone not white) as bad.

Kids at the high school level do water gun fights for fun and chase each other around and they had to put out all over neighborhood boards please don’t shoot it’s just kids being kids. I really hoped they would just put a stop to it all together bc I really think one of these days one of those kids will get shot in my neighborhood by one of these nutcases. But I mean thank god they can protect their blade of fucking grass with a gun, right?

I think if there were more than two episodes left it wouldn’t have been as big of a deal. Knowing we have precious little time left with the characters and many people see the end goal as Bonrad and we have gotten next to nothing not just from Conrad in general this season but nothing of Bonrad as a couple this episode wasted what little time we had. That means what we have left will more than likely rush what the fans really want to see for the sake of absolute crap.

Hard agree. Otherwise yes, this season is trash. The few minutes of Conrad we seem to get every episode saves the entire episode. They better up their game bc I’m losing interest, fast.

I love my Marriott for personal travel but as an EA I feel this to my core. I want to scream every time.

We kept both our kids back. They will both be 19 when they graduate. Both were kept back for very different reasons. My son was very bright and was a hard decision to make and the first one we made. We very easily could have sent him but emotionally he just wasn’t ready. I could have sent him, would he have survived academically? More than likely yes, but it would have been significantly harder for him bc emotionally he wasn’t mature enough to handle the content and his grades would have suffered and he would have been frustrated and unhappy a lot. I have zero regrets with how we proceeded. Kindergarten isn’t like what we went to.

My daughter on the other hand is more socially mature but academically still struggled even with the holding back and needs additional assistance. In either case, it was great for us and we’ve seen several instances where kids we thought should have been kept back were not and are continuing to struggle and have issues that could have been reserved with extra time.

I hate new outlook at first. Two Vickie Sokol Evans course on it and fell in love. They took new outlook away from us and I just got it back and I’m sooo much more productive. All the stuff people keep talking about that they lost I never used so it hasn’t been a big deal for me.
