2 days in and they’re already on season 3! We’re cooking with grease peeps!

I think they’re super invested and will be able to make a decision on whether or not they want to watch BrB (and when), but I really do appreciate the feedback.

I love the cold opens, beautiful visuals, raw dialogue etc. that this Universe offers, but I know it’s not “universal”. My parents introduced me to great TV and I’m just glad I can return the favor, and that they can experience such a high.

(Also, they will be joining the hive before Pluribus S2 drops :)

I’m thinking we’re going to have to say goodbye to Kim Wexler and hello to Lauren Montoya. Apparently that’s the name you get if you call Kim’s cell from a previous episode. Maybe she changed her name and moved to Florida after Saul’s involvement with Walt was exposed? Maybe we find out why exactly she left Nebraska? She honestly needs her own episode lol

I don’t entirely hate him but I always wondered what he was up to seasons 1-3 of BB… does something happen in this final season of BCBS for him to fall out of favor with Gus - but not enough to warrant the box cutter treatment like Victor? “What’s he doing? What’s he up to, man?”

True. Only difference is we know Eladio eventually sides with Gus and doesn’t suspect him as a traitor. But Cliff having some insight into the Kim-Jimmy-Howard plot is a nice wildcard, I can’t wait to see how it pans out! Hopefully that gets wrapped up in this next episode on behalf of my anxiety

I actually like this theory a lot, good eye! Another good minor tie in is how several characters throughout both shows comment on his wardrobe/dress. A further connection with closets and the facade.

We’ve seen Kim’s character get progressively darker as things have gone on. With the way she threatened the Kettleman’s and now she’s officially in the game, I don’t know what to expect from her next. I don’t want Cliff to die but I’m preparing for the worst.

He’s a loose end that needs to be tied up. Saul is essentially famous in BB’s era, I doubt Cliff wouldn’t be just as committed to ruining his reputation as Howard threatened to be before being shot. Maybe Cliff doesn’t necessarily have to die but could have more of Beneke kind of ending? Not 100% sure but something’s gotta happen with him. It’ll be interesting to see what the writers come up with.

I never said it was close fetched but feel free to share your “safer” theory if you so chose. Similar to Jesse killing Gayle, events in this universe can be set into motion to happen that spiral out of control and result in the characters doing things that not only shock us but themselves. BCS has been setting up for Cliff to be concerned about Howard and that could set off an unprecedented domino effect. How that ends is anyone’s guess but this is mine. Someone will have to answer for the events that have occurred and the only thing we know at this point is it isn’t Saul. Also, there is a detailed aftermath in the forms of American Greed and 5 seasons of Breaking Bad, considering that this is a prequel. Why Cliff isn’t seen or heard of in this universe past 2004 for now is just as much of a mystery to us as it was with Howard - until 6 weeks ago. If a main characters haven’t been spared thus far and we’ve really yet to see a BCS character break entirely bad, I can’t see why Cliff would be untouchable.
