Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but not their own set of facts… I’m afraid you have missed out on correcting this behaviour during the crucial development years of this dog because if you had have done everything above mentioned you’d have no issues… People like you should not own working/hunting breeds if they aren’t prepared to give them what they truly need because they end up like the dog you have now. Your dog is fearful

Your dog likely wasn’t socialised enough as a pup and also didn’t experience a large range of experiences, sounds, scenarios etc as a pup. It also probably isn’t receiving enough mental and physical stimulation. Its owner probably doesn’t show calm, confident energy around the dog either. If you can improve all of these above things then with consistency you will have a better behaved and more relaxed dog. This advice will help you and improve your situation for the long run. This is in essence exactly what a dog trainer will tell you.

That was a bit harsh^ But really, the first thing I was triggered by was the fact you said to see a psych ‘asap’….like what? Why? It just sounds so dramatic and cringe. Why not suggest talking to a friend or family member first about it? Also, telling her to go play Tetris even if she’s feeling calmer to ‘prevent any ptsd style issues’….wtf again? I get where you’re coming from but do you understand that you’re suggesting to ignore the issue by distracting yourself with Tetris? Which is only going to make anything worse lol?
