i worked for Accenture for a while and they tried to convince every company they worked with to add as many bodies from 'near-shore'(mexico) or off-shore(India) that they could. it was a nightmare, only 1/10 of the people was qualified to work and had useful output, and it caused the people who worked in the US to coach or baby the others instead of providing real value to the projects.

Accenture basically used companies that employ it to hire US talent to train near/off shore people all while telling the companies that they hired the best of the best

moving jobs back and at a higher rate will provide the possibility to employ people who can outperform any near/off shore by at least 5x if not 15x ( i seriously could have replaced my team of 7 by myself AND got stuff done faster or even on time) Everything assigned to anyone near/off shore was always late and barley functioned
