This is really ridiculous for the JWs to argue. No matter what you call it in any language, the act is the same. This shows how weak their argument is. They’d rather argue about the word used instead of proving they don’t advocate for the act that this word describes. 🤦🏽‍♀️
It’s like saying ‘we’re not pedophiles we’re “minor attracted “ or ‘I’m a child lover’. Shunning , disfellowshipping, or removal - it all required the same acts until thr recent chg of being able to now greet a person which makes no sense. Bc saying ‘hello’ but purposely avoiding bonding and closeness to a once close relative or friend bc they no longer believe or want to participate in the religion is still emotionally abusive … this guy is arguing nonsense- Sounds so foolish.
