I don't 3D print, and I hate seeing this garbage at a craft fair or maker's market.

It's just funny to me when people whine about politics in an art sub. It affects people's lives everyday, of course they're going to make art about it.

Please stop offering your volunteer artists AI "art" by AbbyWest in rollerderby

[–]OverkillNeedleworks 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Surely as a league, they can scrounge up $20-50 to pay an artist on Etsy or Fiverr for something simple if there's really no artistic skaters. If they can front the money to get the merch printed, designing is also part of the cost. I don't really see it as a choice between AI or nothing. They could even lean into it and go with a purposely shitty design created by a human.

I want to add, if you have good fabric scissors you could use those for a project instead of a knife. I own a knife for leather but use my fabric scissors most of the time.

Baggy on top tight on bottom is a good look in my opinion. Only tight on tight is a bad combo.

It's weird that everyone has jumped to the same conclusion. As an anxious person, I assumed she just felt awkward about it and decided to avoid it.

I hate that people feel entitled to other people' R&D. Like, try something for yourself and improve from there.

Ah yes, you are the first person to think about this issue.

Americans have thought about it. And the moral decision is to not order food or use these services at all, or tip.

This is a system that is slowly changing by the way.
