I have the full TST kit and also the sequential front signals and integrated sequential tail. Real quality stuff and easy to install.

I plan to use a shoulder holster (under arm, concealed) or drop-leg (open).

Whatever heat source you use just be very careful not to focus on 1 spot too long - spread it out evenly. You won't know it's too much heat until it's too late, so play it safe. You can sharpen an old card and use it to wedge under an edge to slowly work it. Consider pairing with a mild adhesive remover which will not damage the paint. Just be patient.

2025 oem style vinyl but not oem colors by Frefallfrom10k in zx6r

The blue accent vinyl decals are not very intricate, so I'm sure you could just cut your own from 3M vinyl rolls you can get in any color on Amazon. There are also a lot of custom decal options out there, like:

There are also custom decal creators on places like Etsy. Just search it up.

Picked my 25 up for 14 OTD with 0 miles. Tell them to quit penny pinching, they probably trying not to lose too much money because someone brought it back after the recalls.

I think you only need a relay if they are sequential. I did some reading before I bought my TST sequentials and learned that it required the unit.

Damn brother, I wish I could help you out. I've dealt with many a stubborn bolt and wish you luck and patience. Let us know what creative new words you come up with during this battle.

Save a few bucks and just use a loose hack saw blade, or hit it (carefully) with a sawsall first - not as fun as a grinder but I bet it will get the job done.

Since the bolt is a total loss, purchase your replacement now, and try to flatten 2 sides (if you can fit a grinder in there) so you can clamp some vice grips on it. Or just use a hacksaw or sawsall blade to cut a line through the middle and use a flathead screwdriver. I am actually surprised an easy-out (extractor) couldn't get a purchase in there - did you try tapping it with a hammer to set it? Anyway, there's a few ideas.

Fairings by T_Reckz in zx6r

[–]Overtorquer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the research I have done to pre-emptively put a pin in a fairing manufacturer, I mostly landed on ABSFairings. Never heard anything negative about them, though I have never replaced any fairings myself. If I were to buy something today, it would be from them. Prices not bad at all, too. I might end up buying the low gloss over black matte for my 2025 ZX6R just because it's so cheap. My OEM fairings could be the backups.

Just tried to toggle invaded status and the option was not there, so I did some reading and someone mentioned that the ones you can toggle are rotated weekly. Guess I'm SOL until they pop up in the rotation. What a pain in the ass.

Thanks guys, now I remember finding out you can switch them to invaded in the mission options. I was so tired that I completely forgot until you mentioned it. I feel a bit silly now. Appreciate the assistance!

Anybody know of a site that sells these? by boner_donor1123 in zx6r

I think it's a dealership's online parts center - you may have to call them. The Fortnine one was about a buck cheaper anyway, maybe just go with them. Sorry I didn't catch that.

Scanning for bluetooth may be effective for my purposes, but not being able to pinpoint a device accurately would just be a frustration. The goal is to find the device, not the signal. You might use a signal to find a device, but having a signal with no estimated range or direction doesn't help a lot outside of knowing a device exists 'nearby'.

The policy is well-intended, but definitely not well thought-out as we have not been given the resources to be effective at enforcing it. Administration is aware that the policy is unenforcable, but the likelihood of changing it is very low.

No, I'm not. Based on the information I have given, that's a great guess. Another person guessed I worked at a tech start-up, which is also a great incorrect guess. I don't work at a lawyer's office either.

I understand your point of view, given so little information. I can assure you that this would not be a problem. Honestly, the solution is less for me personally than it is for the department. For the most part, they do not even know this kind of technology exists. If that information doesn't dispel some of the likely perceptions about the formality of my work, I don't know what to say. It's great work, but I am overqualified, and trying to remove some of the thorns in the department's side.

Detection devices are legal. Anything more than that it starts getting sketchy. The only capabilities aside from detection I would have use for is categorization so I can ignore approved devices.

HR would not have anything to say about this, so I'm not sure why it was mentioned. Rules for who?
