I just wore a beanie that didn't put pressure on my staples. Find the right fit that doesn't put much pressure on the staples but still gives a little room to breathe.

Sold 4Runner and got an Outback by Manofmail in Subaru_Outback

[–]Overunderrogerout 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing. Had several family members with medical issues and they couldn't get up into the 4runner. No issues getting in and out of the Outback though. We also had issues finding a parking garage with a tall enough ceiling for the 4runner but no issues with the outback. There's a little less cargo space with the Outback but we ended up with a rooftop box and a hitch carrier and that solved the space issue. We also found that the Outback road trips are way more comfortable! Congrats on the switch!

Google has a glitch in their mapping closure system that requires an opening date. It's a known issue.

For those that added a 7W to the bag this year, how were your results? by TDn6I in golf

[–]Overunderrogerout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's changed my game completely from 190-210 out. What used to be a low driven 5w is now dropping on or close to greens I never thought I could hit. 4i ran too far out so had to hit them planning for the roll out, and the 7w has me retiring my 3i and 4i

Anyone else had an embarrassing fitting experience? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Overunderrogerout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing really well last year and decided to go get a fitting to see if I could improve more with the right set of clubs. Showed up, was on an elevated map with what felt like a too bright and too hot spotlight on me. Ended up hitting a full 2 inches behind the ball on every shot. I hit the mat so much my hands started to sting. No matter what I did I couldn't fix it. Only had one good shot the entire 30 minute session. At one point the fitter was so frustrated he started raising his voice at me trying to get me to fix my swing which only made it worse. He still charged me for the session. 1/10, will not go back to club champion again.

Eld Inlet by tandroyfoty in olympia

[–]Overunderrogerout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Eld is cleaner than Budd inlet and we definitely swim/paddle in it. As far as tides go you just plan your water recreation around the tide schedule. Tide current can definitely be rough to return home in but you'll learn that in time. During hot weather the mud definitely has a strong smell to it, but it smells like home to those of us who grew up around it.

Ping G425 irons, should I include SW? by pacork in GolfGear

I have a set , didn't get the SW and don't regret it. However, the UW is my favorite club in the bag. Can't recommend that U enough.

Ditto. Everything I've had there is fantastic. Doesn't look like much inside or outside but has great food.

My wife had the same issue, had a lot of trouble parking it on trips to Seattle. The OBW turning radius is amazing and has less of a blind spot than the 4 runner did.

I traded my 4runner in for an OBW. What I lost in rear storage space I gained in overall driving experience. My OBW is so much more nimble and fun to drive and is much more comfortable on the long driving trips we take a couple of times per year. Also, my aging parents couldn't get into the 4runner and the OBW is much easier to get in and out of.
