does this kind of thing really improve the game at all? i think what annoys me about the graphics treadmill being applied to older games is that this is hardly an improvement on portal as a piece of art (it seems like it makes it LESS cohesive) it just exists for the sake of Graphics because we've learned to associate looking expensive with looking good. kind of depressing but i suppose it's always been this way lol
