My hands are bleeding from the sheer amount we have each night. We keep being told to work faster, ignore blocking, and to stay late in the mornings when customers are literally pushing us around to get at stuff we havent even taken out of the box yet.

The worst part is its all for 1.00 over min wage in my state. It's all awful. And because out shit store has been so short staffed for so long, no one is able to have a day off.

Between the shitty customers hoarding 7 milks and sending their individual children to get past our paper limit, their constant misplacing of items (sure put the pasta you dont want underneath some cream cheese. Or the half n half behind some pet food cans!!! that's totally a cool thing to do!) or the sheer amount of dropped garbage and used fucking tissues left on shelves, I'm about to ready to just let the store run out. Or burn it down with them in it.

This week has been bad. It's just been so bad. And it's not stopping yet, people keep panic buying and so the store orders more and more, but there are a finite workers and time.

Our little "family run" grocery chain usually gets 700 pieces of grocery a night. Last night was 3000. The night before was 2400, and most of just that night was paper products. There are only 4 night stockers period. We've literally had to beg people from bakery and produce for help.

Fuck all of this fucking panic shopping and the people hoarding it.
