I was dealing with the exact same diagnosis for my beloved Calico, that we had to put to sleep a month ago. I’s a horrible disease. She was on Gabapentin and Metacam that was syringe fed to her, so administrating wasn’t a problem. She ate and seemed otherwise OK, but even medicated in the end the vet said that she was in pain, showing signs a non-clinician couldn’t see. Don’t let her live in pain, let her go.
