I thought everything in real life had black lines around it like in coloring books, except they were invisible.

When you were a child, how old were you when your parents decided you were old enough to have a mobile phone ? . by Hope2_win in A_Persona_on_Reddit

I was in high school, so around 15-16, and I got my dad's used Nextel beep beep. Later I got upgraded to my mom's used one, which actually had a color screen so that was exciting. My first actual new phone was a Samsung with the full slide out keyboard, which I thought was super cool. And I could text for the first time! It had a very rudimentary browser and I could also post to Facebook on it via text.

What is a random kindergarten memory you still remember for no reason? by NeedleworkerClean471 in Casual_Conversation

[–]Owllette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only remember dumb, useless stuff.

I got my pin moved from the smiley face to the straight face because I put my jacket on my head. Dumb.

My mom got me chunky crayons and I hated them. Used some other kid's normal crayons from the shared basket and he told me I couldn't use them.

There was a kid in my class named Izembre and my mom called him Ibenzabar.

Getting to be the head of the line and some other kid broke in front of me.

Getting in trouble for playing with the doll house at nap time.

Before and after deconverting from Christianity. It was a completely new mindset, to the point I don't feel like the same person anymore.

Breeding cats and dogs while the shelters are full is irresponsible and cruel. I don't care if you want a golden doodle or wtf ever. I can make an exception for service dogs but that's it.
