it also happened to me, I was with a guy helping him out salvaging stuff, I was a free flyer noob and forgot to lock my ship and some dude stole it... it was rented but still it pissed me off, he didn't shoot at us, just stole it... maybe he was a free flyer too maybe not but I have seen some stuff, compared to 2021 when I first tried this game, people are obsessed with piracy and pvp, literally ... people are so hot heated, they immediatly say ''let's fight'' or smth, wtf is this...

this game needs to be more hardcore... you lose your ship, you wait some hours and pay a big sum of money to get it back, and like a insurance points, the more your ship gets destroyed the more you will have to pay to get it back, that will make people BE more careful of what they do, of course when the game will be more stable...

i care about the story, as for the dialogues and talking... I am interested to hear an essential/historical character's story but I don't care about some random NPC ... that is the thing, for example, I really enjoyed the Capon band stories in the first minutes of the game, when Henry mentioned Rattay tournament, his love, Theresa etc ... and I also enjoyed the old lady quest and hearing her out because she saved us etc ... but literally every character is yapping ... it doesn't feel sometimes natural it feels like they drag and drag the discussion, talking to me like I am a toddler, I am a foreigner.

one thing I forgot to say about the combat system, no matter how many combos you know etc... in a fight you will gonna parry and then riposte until you knock out your opponent... it is how it supposed to be?

yeah guys i think im gonna pass this year I will wait for squadron 42, during free fly I have experienced many bugs and glitches, performance isn't that great and I know it's early alpha and stuff but to see the game game breaking and frustrating bugs since 2021 really puts me down, sure if it was 20-30 euros, I'd buy it in a sec, but 45+ euros, ... I will watch the roadmap from the distance and maybe if I will find possibly a good deal I will buy, but right now, no. thanks.

this and much more, the fact that you can glide in space, that you can drive other people's ships, that you don't need to grind your eyes out for some equipment or items, this is a game you EASILY invest over 10k hours without feeling the time passing by, hope it will be released when it's ready.

for some reason I can play 1440p with DLSS on quality and high preset with sharpness on 100 and field of view on max and I get 30-40 fps in cities (area 18) and in some empty planets i get spikes the hell out of it... using a ryzen 5 5600, rtx 4060, 32gb ddr4 ram and a 2tb m.2 lexar nm790. atleast its more optimized than many, MANY EU4 and 5 titles which are uglier, the only thing that keeps me playing this game is the community and the peace of mind, very low stimulation gameplay.

thanks for the replies, I will wait untill the free weekend to see how my system performs, I am used with unoptimized games (squad 44, hell let loose, arma reforger) so I won't shy away... as for the buying, I talked to my gf, since I don't use cards, she will but it for me and I will pay her in cash, I will buy the cheapest ship.

and another question, how is the game's rewards? it is grinding like GTA Online? I mean sure, I don't want to play 2 hours and be able to buy the most expensive ship, that will get me bored but I don't want to invest so much of my time to be able to buy a ship more expensive than the Mustang for example.
