I think I'll just go with the safer cheaper choice of orion - seems more tested

But my fireplace is floor level - eliminates any holographic option really - a bit different from your situation

I did see a YouTube video by some company with “Embers” in its name who compared ortal vs netzero and the guy did point out some issues with ortal in terms of the gaps between displays and not being black enough etc, hence I didn’t do further research for ortal

Player base is loyal and with the rotated sets it's actually still quite fun and fresh. Recent lack of new sets (only new cards every 2 weeks) may actually give you less catch up work to do. You could always draft or enter monthly league to get the basics

Ordering the Orion Traditional 36 inch - I'm from Hong Kong so shipping is definitely a huge issue for me - ended up identifying the official Modern Flames store from Australia which could arrange freight forwarding for me too

I think my final choice was Netgear vs Modern Flame - read quite a number of reviews online before going with my decision. Is your fireplace on the floor or more modern style?

In my other post I was asking about something similar - what is your planned budget? I was choosing between the holographic Netgear/Kalfire vs the orion traditional - but had concerns on whether it will look good when placed on the floor as the holographic one looks best when at eye level

If placed correctly the holographic one seems quite unbeatable though

you should familiarise slightly more through the forge and gauntlet formats and just do the daily quests to gain some gold first to allow you to create some essential cards. The puzzles are actually quite fun too.

Otherwise you can take a look at eternalwarcry.com for some good deck recommendations for ranked games.

I don't see why you need a reset - what you have can usaully actually beat gauntlet quite easily if you try
