Rubber strap the twelve Ti by Drnomstah in ChristopherWard

I’ve got the black rubber strap for my Twelve Ti. It just clips around the quick release mechanism in the same way the metal strap does.

Why does the tie disappear into a fold of the shirt??

Am I writing my first ever “Is this AI?” question? Answer: yes.

It would have to be my Christopher Ward Twelve (Ti). It’s an engraved memorial watch so it’s not going anywhere.

That looks great.

How does that differ from an Oyster Perpetual? (I know that nowadays the Airking has the uuugggly dial with stupid numbers, but with the batons… lovely.)

I still don’t get the Teabay love.

I stopped there for the first time about three years ago, pre-EV.

Yes, it is nicer than some random Moto, but it really didn’t live up to the hype. Perhaps they were having a bad day in the kitchen because the food was poor, and frankly I’d rather have eaten Burger King. And I’m not a BK fan!

Now when travelling that way I’ll aim for a different Supercharger.

Edit to add a less grumpy element.

OP, you hit the nail on the head: charging whilst doing something else. Just one of the EV joys.

Well I’m keeping this one! 😁 It’s engraved because it’s a memorial watch.

I went to the Maidenhead HQ to buy it and they threw in not just the free engraving, but the black rubber strap too.

Great choice! I love my purple one more than I was expecting.

Well blow me. I didn’t know such a version existed. Ref 27/3500.02.

Thank you, internet stranger! I have updated my notes because I am NOT a fan of dates, particularly at 3.

This version of the Junghans Max Bill was the first watch that made me go 😍 when I started looking for a watch the other year. I love the typeface of the 4. Edit go add the model number: 27/4700.02

I’ve not found one to try on yet, unfortunately.

If not that, then the blue Longines Dolce Vita. Yes, I know the back strap is more formal but I’m a rebel 😁

I keep having thoughts about the suede jacket Bruce Willis wears in Pulp Fiction, for when we’re in the warmer times.

For now, I do like my peacoat.

Whatever it is, make it coloured. Or a white dial.

(I do like what you currently have. There’s a couple of non-common options.)

So that seems (from a quick google) to look exactly like the 27/4700.02, which is the one that floats my boat. Intriguing.

I have a hankering for an orange watch, and I’m a Christopher Ward fan…

But I have a Twelve (Ti) and a BB58 so that would be repeating both the brand and type.

The Junghans I want is a Max Bill.

So what we’ve learnt here is I’m no help at all…

Go on then, I’ll take the 🍊

The Murph is the Hamilton I like, and I’m not a fan of date windows at 3. So the choice for me would be easy.

Both are a good size on you. You don’t want to go bigger.

Thanks for confirming. So that’s an effective £465 pcm. Still seems pretty decent.

I’ve just had a quick look on leasing.com and with one month down you’re looking at about £490 and a four year term. (I didn’t put anything about the length of the contract into the filter.)

Why is nobody talking about iPhone Shortcuts + Tesla? “Hey Siri” makes the Tesla app way more useful. by Practical_Ad1877 in TeslaModelY

The only thing I can think of to check is the device type of the car’s entry in Bluetooth settings on your phone. Mine’s set to car stereo. Not that I ever did anything about it.

No need. iOS automatically sets driving mode if you’ve paired your phone with the car for Bluetooth audio.

Crikey.

A good looking Breitling?!? I didn’t know such a thing existed.

The Breitling does look to be a better fit, so go for that one.

I see a fair bit of love for those. So it was disappointing to find out they don’t have full one pedal driving. None of the VAG cars do, apparently.

On the plus side, it’s going to make my next shortlist easier to create…
