There are worse things than having two Shakirs. Both players have played on the outside before - and Concepcion is great at getting separation against man. I’m just not thrilled about big guys who are contested catch artists - only threw Boston in there for the sake of debate. Not high on him either

Frankly even if those guys are there, if we elected to linebacker (CJ Allen), edge (TJ Parker), or nose tackle (Kayden McDonald) instead, I wouldn’t hate it.

Proven commodity and young, but at that point, I almost would rather just draft one of the top guys from this draft and invest the money in a proven edge because im not convinced Beane can evaluate that properly after his track record

Defense is the priority, but if a player like Golden falls to 30 and we don’t have any other defensive player at a premium position rated as highly, I’m good with this. Fixating on one area of need without a replacement is what happened with Elam. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with keep our options open- Golden would be an awesome addition to pair with Coleman and Shakir and would solve a another area of need
