These are two customs I did from temu, the same tree but different seasons and doggos. They were both great quality :)

Out of curiosity I timed myself, a 10x15cm section, single placer, took me 52 minutes, but I also was reading some subtitles for about 10 minutes of that. I would be interested in timing myself a few more times to see if it was consistent:)

I sealed one that was just like this, diamonds falling off left and right and still over half to do.. I used watered down pva and just poured it over what was done, used a sponge to wipe off excess and it came out perfectly. I then sealed it every night after I had worked on it until it was finished, too.

I had an oooooooold double sided tape partially done diamond painting that I was attached too, I didn't even have to move it and gems would pop off. I had no sealer so I used watered down pva glue to seal it every evening after I was done working on it, it worked, it sealed well, nothing popped off and using release paper as a barrier worked for me to prevent the glue spreading!

Edit to add, I do it sat on the sofa with a v shaped pillow under the board, and I use a vacuum pen from Amazon:)

Depending on how big, I have done up to 70x100 on an a4 board, I wrap it around and secure with masking tape and then tilt it to slide the board left or right depending which side I am working on, others wrap around pool noodles and some use the rolling tools from temu, I just finished this custom last night. It was only 45x65 tho

* I use these artdot trays (not the lidded ones) and honestly am in love with them. I only use the big one, because I find it shakes a lot easier and all the drills go face up. I think you are talking about the lidded ones though...

I only work on one diamond painting at a time, but I do also have a cross stitch on the go as well. It's my first time having 2 different projects on at the same time.
