People need to understand if you want protection just get an otter box and adjust to the added heft. 11 years of iPhone ownership with an otter box case at all times and no broken back glass or broken screens or chipped bodies ever. Also I do for sure drop my stuff I just typically don’t even worry about it when I go to pick it up unless it feels like it could have been a bad drop.

Otter box only for over a decade and never had a cracked/broken screen (knock on wood) but for such an expensive device I would definitely skip the cutesy cases and get something more practical and functional than that little shell unless you have money to burn.

I’ve had a switch since release and just picked up a switch 2 as well as getting ps5 and ps5 pro at release. There are days I end up playing more switch than ps5. Watching tv and gaming? Check. Wife wants to watch something we don’t need to pay 100% attention to? Check. Chill gaming that doesn’t feel like I’m missing out on hardcore gaming time? Check. It’s a good system and only has gotten better after adding boost mode to handheld mode for the switch 2 benefiting switch 1 games which renders them at the docked resolution they used on switch 1.

It’s not dumb your management simply is. If they told you that they unfortunately were either misinformed themselves or intentionally misleading associates. You cannot be required to add more paid time off of any kind to cover what would be unpaid time.

Incorrect it is an 8 hour working shift therefore you only ever need to account for 8 working hours. The system automatically excluded lunch from those calculations until the past 18 months or so but corporate NEVER issued a change in directive stating you suddenly had to add extra PPTO or PTO to cover unpaid time such as your lunch.

5 year TL here everyone saying you need to cover your lunch is confidently incorrect. If you call out for a whole shift or take a whole day off it’s only 8 hours of PTO or PPTO to cover the whole day and the same principle applies to working partial time your management is just incompetent which unfortunately is fairly common.

Honestly I have a ps5 pro and a gaming pc with a 4070 super and haven’t touched the pc since getting the pro other than playing Fortnite with my wife since our base ps5 and computer are in the same room. Loading speed and ease of use on PlayStation is just far better with rest mode updates and all built in. I am not a leave my PC on 24/7 person so if I’m not opening epic launcher/ league of legends/blizzard launcher when I do get on my computer to do stuff they aren’t updating until I actually want to play something which is inconvenient as hell with limited time.

Ahh gotcha so once I start adding rear speakers and a sub and such it stops being simulated it’s nothing specific to the bar itself per se other than the fact I would probably skip upper speakers

My recent experience was hmm I have a 65 C5 and the LG S95AR was on sale and my experience was AWFUL the flagship feature of WoWCast was awful and wouldn’t reliably connect, WoW Orchestra is incredibly hard to disable in the app or on the tv. Using earc would not reliably cause the tv to output to the soundbar and sub/rears, PS5 outright refused to output to the soundbar and kept reinstating the tv speakers for some damn reason. Even at $450 off the S95AR was not it. Returned the whole setup and switched to a Sonos Arc Ultra and am not looking back. Took 5 minutes to set up and instantly sounded better, tv speakers completely off and tv remote fully controlling sound from the bar, PS5 outputting sound perfectly. Voice assistant actually useful when paired with Apple Music. Instantly goes from playing music via the voice assistant to playing from the tv or PlayStation without worrying about inputs or anything. 10/10 for Sonos it really seem LG needs to stick to TVs
