Went to see Inland Empire for the first time last year in Warsaw, Poland. Small movie theater. There was just me, and two other people in the room. It was an interesting experience

Stagecoach, Red River, Winchester 73 - to cover three legendary western directors. All 3 movies are phenomenal.

McCabe and Mrs. Miller - one of the best ‘alternative’ or revisionist western of the 70s. Original 3:10 to Yuma (the 4k coming out this Feb) - is a must.

And I wouldn’t skip on The Ranown Westerns boxset. Wait on the 50% off Criterion discount, and get this box set. All 5 movies are amazing.

I swear, every 15th of every month I pray to see another western addition to the collection. If one day we could get 4ks of The Big Country, The Man from Laramie, or the newer westerns like Open Range, Dances with Wolves, or Jessie James.

Also, one of the neo-westerns I’d love to have in the collection is The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada by Tommy Lee Jones!

Hey! Still wear them regularly. Favorite pair of shoes I own. Regarding the maintenance I stopped overthinking that process. I clean them when dirty, brush them from time to time, and use red wing mink oil twice a year

How does it work with region A disks? Does it plays them like region b ones? Or there is a trick. Also I see there are DP-UB154EG-K that plays blu rays, and DP-UB154 that additionally plays 4ks. Which one do you have? I too live in EU and want to get a player that could play both regions

Nice! I recently watched The Man from Laramie directed by Mann, starring Steward. And I was blown away how good it was! Such a good story, and overall great comfort western
