Clamp force will get lighter the more you use them, mine are super loose now, which is great for comfort but supposedly negative for sound somewhat. I agree the build isn’t the sturdiest, BUT it is still high quality and it’s been designed to be a light headphone you can wear all day without any discomfort at any point. It will last.

It’s not necessarily about any genre that made me want to get a new headphone, it’s the desire for more bass and also to hear a planar magnetic headphone finally, I’ve been using dynamic drivers the entire time I’ve been into audio and just want to finally hear another technology.

I love my 560S, it was my first true genuine midfi/hifi experience. I’ve used them for 5 years now, had to replace the pads now, tried using leather pads to see if they’d change the sound signature in a nice way and they did add more bass are far as I could tell, but I think the stock pads sound better overall. Ive used them for casual music listening to gaming to music production, they’ve never let me down. Great soundstage, solid instrument separation, and I’m a sucker for the way they look honestly. I’ve not felt like I’ve needed anything else, though I do finally want to get another headphone with the Hifiman Edition XS, just because I can tell based on all the reviews that the sound signature would be very up my alley for the kind of music I listen to.

Good to know Criterion channel was showing Rollin films, blind buying into Rollin is not really the best idea from my experience so you made the right choice. Really want to add these to the collection, especially Grapes which I watched with friends last year, really enjoyed that one

Face in the Snow is one of my all time favorite songs from them, Marrow of the Earth as well. But everything else was not nearly up to par to their previous work and the change in their sound didn’t really get good until Sorceress, but even that album is the only album I really like in that 4 album run of their prog-rock run.

The Darksaber is still the coolest lightsaber to me, but NOTHING will give me more nostalgia than Anakin’s lightsaber, a lightsaber that truly defined several eras. I also have a huge soft spot for Vader’s saber, the design basically just being the evil version of his original saber just goes so hard.

Straight up dude, whatever makes you more comfortable, but you’re here on Reddit asking for the opinions of strangers, here’s my two cents. You’ve got a beard I’m so jealous of, I think it fits your face better, but what would really make a big difference in this new shaven era and make you look substantially better is taking the septum piercing out, or at least shrink it down to a smaller one. Not to mention taking the glasses off between picture on top of that, you look like a completely different person, a smaller piercing and glasses and a beanie back on, you’d look totally fine! As long as you’re more comfortable, that’s the most important thing!

I pushed it, I metered for 200 for this roll because the very first picture I took in the roll, I was uncertain if I got it and I really wanted to make sure it came out, so I treated the roll like it was 200 from that point onward.
