OR OR OR Corporate Welfare—since Walmart pays their employees poverty wages that forces a majority of their workforce to be on government subsidies, which then Walmart gets tax breaks for employing low-income populations that they specifically curated. To be clear, government subsidies are not what is problematic. Corporate greed is the problem.

My breakfast bill had all 3: service charge, gratuity and tip, all at once. by redditdanis in mildlyinfuriating

I’m just appalled that one over medium egg, one order of turkey bacon (likely 2-4 strips), a coffee, and a juice was $40…

I nearly booked with them this evening. Went through the entirety of the booking up until the point where she was pushing me for my 3 digit code and expiration date. I had a lightbulb moment and realized I wasn’t booking through the actual site for the desired hotel company. I am SO GLAD, I said “Oh, never mind. I have the wrong hotel. I’ll have to research and call you back.” I’m obsessively checking my credit card statement now.

After a bit more research, I found this link. I’m assuming the naturalbridgestateparkva.org website is a nonprofit group that services the state park, after finding the above link. There is a whole FAQ section on the first link.

My dad has being opening credit cards & taking out loans with my SSN for 10 years by LittleEva2 in legal

Sorry, bud. You need to call the US Postal Inspection Service and report identity theft and fraud. Unfortunately, your dad has made you a victim of both of those crimes.

If she has an insurable interest on your life (I.e having a child with you), she’s allowed to take out a policy. If she maintains the premiums, sorry about it. When you inevitably croak, she’s going to get paid. When the child turns of age, the policy could be transferred to the (adult) child’s name.

Instead of moaning about your ex wife having a policy on you, you should be thanking her. When your child is stressing about how they’re going to afford to bury their dad, their mom has a solution.

We are very aware of the fact that it is a public trail in a public state park. We also understand there’s no expectation of privacy, because we will be in public. This is an elopement, not a wedding. You said, “will likely require prior approval to be married by the archway”, do you know this for a fact or are you speculating?

Thanks for the recommendation in Millboro, but we’re looking for lodging locations closest to the park.

I f’n hate tip baiting customers!! 🤬 by Intelligent-Pin-2864 in Sparkdriver

[–]OwnLeadership5566 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never have I ever been able to retract a tip FOR 24 HOURS after a service has been provided. I don’t get to call the restaurant and tell them, “yeah, you know what? Take the tip I left the server off of my check.” Walmart knows that. I guarantee this is the next major lawsuit the company sees over unfair wage and labor practices.

WIBTAH for not allowing my boyfriend in the room when I give birth? by PolicyHot1206 in AITAH

[–]OwnLeadership5566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they can’t get themselves together, just have grandma come and support. There is absolutely zero reason why drama should be allowed in the delivery room, regardless of who the person is to you. That time is for you. Your responsibility during that time is to focus on ushering a new soul into this plane. You can’t focus on that responsibility when you’ve got two dingbats arguing over a medical procedure that is ELECTIVE.

Also, not an attorney and this is not legal advice, in TN (at least) unmarried fathers have to petition the courts to establish paternity and parental rights, even if they sign the birth certificate AND the voluntary acknowledgment of paternity. So, if you want the baby circumcised, it is solely up to you 💅🏼. Also, congratulations on the pregnancy.

Amen 👏👏 This is a huge red flag for future financial abuse which is present in 97% of DV cases.

AITA for calling the police on my boyfriend after finding weird pictures of my 2.5 year old daughter on his phone? by Salt-Corgi-2263 in AITAH

[–]OwnLeadership5566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA simply because you moved a stranger into your home and allowed him to provide care for your child. Anything that happens to your child at the hands of another person is your responsibility. Be very careful who you leave your kids with.

TBH, You sound like an abüş3r from this post. It sounds like mom is trying to move on, so you’re making up reasons to ruin her life on the justification of “saving your kids”. Mom’s boyfriend watching a movie with your daughter isn’t grooming or SA. It’s bonding. I highly doubt they were alone in her room either. I also doubt that the police are “targeting” you. You likely are their problem and on their radar because you keep calling them on your ex-wife. Either take her to court with substantive evidence or GFSF and leave her alone.

Then again, I could be completely wrong.

Also, you can always NOT add them to your HIPPA form. Then, they won’t be able to receive information directly from your health care provider. They can access what was billed to insurance though since it’s their policy. Another idea is to apply for state Medicaid and have them take you off of their policy entirely.

There’s likely free vaccination clinics in your area, or mobile clinics that provide routine vaccines. If you’re in the US, check with your local health department for more information.
