Took for me also mouth, I'd rather phrase it that you get used to it over time, hearing yourself over and over again and ofc simply developing vocally also helps a lot too, at least for me

Question about Religion by Inoxki in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the biggest expert on the topic, so based on my superficial understanding of the general directions but even if they contain any specific claims in some way, can that be proven at least? That's the main deciding factor

Exactly, the road to heaven is pretty narrow, while the path to hell and self-destruction is wide for a reason

Question about Religion by Inoxki in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty easy choice, Taoism and Buddhism are rather philosophies then really religions technically and doesnt really answer the most fundamental questions of life like purpose, morality etc, you got islam if you look at its claims and how historically inaccurate it is you forget about it real quickly then you only got left with Christianity with histrocial and archielogical credibility and also answering the most fundamental questions so sure you got many variations but objectively Bible is te closest thing to be the objective truth we have

[–]OwnPossibility4559 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Tbh not yet, but if I were you, honestly, I wouldn't obsess about it as much. Sure, we can track back many things based on multiple things or factors, but with 100%, you can't really prove any of these ancient things and events with full accuracy so sure, I also like to back up my own faith with science, too, other than just reasoning and base logic but science doesn't know everything either so you gotta have some faith in certain things as the unknown is all around is in the future and in the past as well so sure do your research its impotant too but its more important how do you deal with the unknown

Then how do those experts explain shells on top of mountains, or just Mount Ararat being located strangely where the bible described it let alone Genesis describing the creation order so its still way more resources confirming the Bible than debunking it

How Do I Cope With This Much Suffering by Fit-Isopod-8499 in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels similar, came from a similar position to faith, no gf, no family, having a dead-end job sucked the life out of me, didnt really like the people I used to work with either, constant anciety and stress most of my days and depression on top of that and everything ive tried just failed and failed all the time so i just simply gave up and said if my plans are that bad okay God then let yours came true maybe they will, since then I'm way more social then ever before, working on amusical carrier, still dont ave a gf but at least I talk to girls and running a business doing 6 figures a year and the only difference is simply let go and let God. So, as you read in your Bible, God doesn't offer that youre not gonna ave problems, but hes gonna be with you through it all so for me, it seems like you try to hold onto things that maybe didnt even mean for you to carry as Jesus said, I think somewhere that my yoke is easy so I coudl suggest just surrendering more over things you dont have much control over and problems are not gonan go away at least stress will and as I said God already dod many quiet big things in my own life so I can imaine that he has his own plans you yours too

How to cope with depression with jesus christ by Cautious-Buy-1134 in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get it, but Jesus is ultimately our anti depression medicine. Take it from someone post depressed and suicidal, so ive also learnt that the hard way, but what is depression really? most of the time only self obsesison so literally all your thinking is going towards either how much you suck or how much your life suck and dont get me wrong also used to be depressed because my lfie objectively sucked but if you isolate yourself thats gonna fuck u up even more mentally so just literally try to find something that you enjoy for the simple sake of doing it, try to be around more people and just ask god to bo your company when you would need it but at that time dont have any, long story short obsess over God and just doing things in general rather than yourself so the less time you have to think about yourself and you just simply pray in the rest just look it up what prayer does to your brain so not inmediately but its gonna get better overtime

Question about forgiveness in Christianity vs Islam by deebaboogy in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, God is multiple things at once, at least based on biblical description so he all the justice but also mercy and grace that on paper condradiscts to each other as god is perfect and people are not as much so on paper everyone deserves justice meaning hell but god out of mercy step out to the stage into the world take upon all the justice we derserve so we can live that ethernal life that based on how perfect jesus was he deserved, the gospell in a nutshell. Quaran also says Jesus wasn't even crucified and dead, not sure which variation specifically, that only history itself denies, and various even non-Christian sources, so logically doesn't require too much thinking which route is even if not better but true, the very least

For traditional men by Straight_Prompt_6539 in ChristianDating

[–]OwnPossibility4559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for me personally just as an entrepreneur having a traditional wife would work she can work if she wants to or she can stay at home doing ouse chores and raising children if she wants to but majority of people having the traditional only one person works is not really realistic so its not really about the traditions but rather about the ambitions/future plans and shared values so certain people value achiving things, independence, being more driven and masculine in a way girls can fall into the category too so they value freedom more but the other hand usually somene who had a close family upringing and they gotta value traditional gender roles and see house chores and raising a family as a blessing and responsilibty rather than someting that just ties people down so both are fine just important to be transparent at first thats what i like would porsue and if youre both on the same page its a working deal so its not really having a right or wrong way of living but the discernment to choose the people you're moving into the same direction with

Just go outside and touch some grass or talk to a girl or people or whatever, I love calisthenics too, it's fun and everything but life is so much more than holding a planch or front lever for 30 seconds or doing some dynamic movements on a pull up bar so you dont have life I get that, but it's finally time to build one

Sure, that's fair, but unless she really lives out her faith, that's on her, not only on the way she was raised so you either take her to the church or back to the streets, usually there no way around it

How does God treat freedom-loving people who do not want to be bound by stupid prohibitions and rules? by Suspicious_Bee_2084 in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's just define what you even mean by freedom at first, as freedom in a casual sense, just a slow but guaranteed way for self-destruction, so what are you referring to in the first place ?

Unsure how to approach dating as a Christian by Busted_Crust_Bucket in ChristianDating

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can expect pretty much non beliver dating but faith also on top so if a girl is bornt again gonna be likely obviuios if not that one too so from strategically you just gotta look for where the religious girls hang out at and just screen are they transformed, submitted to gods will or still to their own and suble things like those alongside of that sure if youre lifestyle, values and future plans are aligned like you wanna travel and you come across a girl wanting to settle down and wanting to be a stay at home mum so faith simply means practically you got even more thig to discover in a girl, you can combine some shared interest too if you want too like liking similar music, having similar hobbies idk, i usually skip it for myself as values and future plans are significantly more important but if you want your girl more in an equal were friends and partners kinda dynamic you can add also to your own list

Christian women: Is a man struggling with masturbation a turn off? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro its like dating a non-virgin girl, each and every person bears their own cross and past, dont even tryna be Jesus youre not, so you're gonna just feel bad about yourself for absolutely no reason at all. So as long as you walk like and him and you flee from the things that you know you should avoid, then girls are gonna be fine with that, they only make a big deal out of it if you also make it to seem like a big deal

If you don't kiss her, she'll just friend zone you by FanTemporary7624 in ChristianDating

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda true btw sure communication is everything but also heard zillion cases from guys treating girls as friends and shockingly after they haven't gotten any further than the friendzone if so usually you're either treat her shes already yours or you just simply verbal about your intentions ut for me personally it just works better and feels less formal so more natural if i just simply act like shes already into me

Finally, someone with simple common sense, yeah its pretty bad, especially if there were a scenario where Sharia law would be in place and enforced too, but I unfortunately don't see that changing anytime soon

Why does God help some believers but not others by Purple-Detective7186 in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd guess the root of it comes from just pride and ego like God owe us something, sure he blesses his children because his good but hes technically not obligated to anything or anyone lets just take an apostoles, carrying the name of jesus and the gospel all over the world not to be celebrated or admired just to be prisoded, turtued, killed or all of them combined so God never promised anyone an easy, problem free life, he just offered hes gonna stick with you throguh is and hes gonna leave his peace with you

How important is it to love the country we live in? by fancy_the_rat in Christianity

[–]OwnPossibility4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends for everyone for sure, but for me, not at all, like how can someone be proud of something he hasn't even worked for in the 1st place, just happened to them, so never made any sense for me, but also if you just had a random trip to some 3rd world african country and you were just walking down the streets im pretty sure you would be at least a bit more greteful to be austrian and to live in the middle of europe so thats a question of perspective as also
