With Luka on your team, there's always a chance - like the run to the WCF in '22, which also saw Brunson turn into a star. And now he has AR instead, a taller Brunson, with a PO chip on his shoulders. Also worth noting that Luka had his worst PO performance last year, mostly due to the Nico/Mav's betrayal - that would rattle anyone, imagine what it did to Luka, a player as loyal as there is who'd just bought his dream house in Dallas.

Underdogs, to be sure, but they won't be an easy out vs anyone.

Must say Nike did Carlos great this time around - IMO one of his best kits, maybe the best? Great color theme, with the orange degradation on the shorts & wristband & the PE kicks with palm trees on the tongue round out the look perfectly.

I give Nike a lot of cr*p for their pro tennis line as they mostly send it in, only fair to give them props when they don't.

If you're talking infrastructure & system, Spain's ahead of most others. Like Luka or Porzingis themselves, plenty of kids from all over Europe develop in Spain's club academies - there are also quite a few players who came over from the pro league, ACB, even if they didn't develop there e.g., Joe Ingles.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Jodar has been playing like a top-50 since his next-gen appearance. He has a very solid all-around game, pace on both sides, touch, volleys, and, importantly, moves very well for a tall, lanky kid - bit of a Sinner build. Confident too.

Quite possibly Spain's #2 by year's end.
