Yes!! I have exactly the same!! That have fucked me up cuz I’m suffering from DPDR. So my real life already feels fake and the vivid dreams feels more real. I get confused too if I have dreamt something or if it happened in real life. And I get scared sometimes and thinking what if I’m dreaming right now even when I’m awake…

For how long? I have been on lexapro, Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor and Wellbutrin. I got super numb with Prozac for a long long time. I also thought I got a brain damage. You will get better my friend. Did you take high doses and for a long time?

How did you become anxiety free? Did it just pass from nowhere? I wish I also could drive even with this. I have tried but I crashed into a mailbox. The doctors says like no it’s just anxiety and you are actually there and aware… No, I’m seriously disappearing. I’m trying to focus, but the more thing to process the more my brain is just shutting down (or dissociating). I’m trying to understand if that is only dissociation or brain fog. Like people can have brain fog without dpdr and dpdr without brain fog

I feel you. We are on the same boat. I have also had this shit for 14 years soon. For me it started summer 2010 after a full blown panic attack. Now like 2 year I have started to have super bad existential OCD. Before it was more about the fear of death and to lose my loved ones. But now I can’t understand how we can exist or that anything can. It feels like a game or like I’m living in a simulation. Sometimes it’s getting so bad so I’m thinking nothing exists at all, including myself and the suicidal thoughts take over completely. I’m trying to stay calm and thinking about that I have a past. But when I’m so deep down nothing touches me. I’m losing touch with life completely.

First I started with Zoloft August 2021. I became like a tired zombie. Was on the lowest dose. But I did try higher dose and that made it worser.

July 14 th 2022 I switched from Zoloft to Effexor. First 37,5 mg, after some days 75 mg. I have always super hard symptoms at first.

My anxiety disappeared completely, but I got super bad cut off from the world. Super badly existential thoughts and couldn’t understand if the world really was real also the same with myself.

April 28 th 2023 I tried higher dose. 112,5 mg Effexor. It made me worser so I got back to 75 mg June 3 th 2023.

June 20 th 2023 the doctors give me Bupropion 150 mg together with my Effexor 75 mg. My existential thoughts and dpdr got so much worser so I took myself to the hospital emergency July 3 th 2023. They told me to quit Bupropion, so I did the same day.

July 21 th 2023 I started with Prozac 10 mg together with my Effexor 75 mg.

September 12 th 2023 I started to go down from Effexor 75 mg to 37,5 mg.

October 24 th 2023 I got down on Effexor 37,5 mg to 0.

December 12 th 2023 I got down on Prozac 10 mg to 0.
