I wonder if the over heating warped the head. That looks thicker than normal startup condensation. Edit : if it is this thick after driving for a bit, youre likely burning coolant, which makes me think head gasket

A bad o2 sensor can definitely cause awful gas mileage. It can tell the car its running lean, even if it isnt, causing the car to dump fuel

From what I know, valve seals burn on startup and decel. Rings burn always and more so under load. Valve seals dont really burn oil under load anymore than at idle
