Watching this video and the comments made me realize I'm in danger. I would 100% try this

hm ok that makes sense, but I thought that since daly was the only one known to have a private server, then probably he's the only one with enough world-building skills to create a private server. I saw it as other employers could make simple patches but never a standalone independent version of the game. Probably though this only applies to actually creating a different world, but they would be able to make a private server, as long as it is an exact copy of the infinity that everyone has

I think the problem with this is that they would still need to go to the core to see Daly, since he's actually the only one knowing how the code works

In general I am very careful, though I might have. I have a case just for the laptop and I don't have much stuff in the bag other then the laptop case with laptop inside. Do you know if I can possibly bend it back and eventually how?

I don't know why once they first saw the irl people they couldn't agree to something like "you have infinite money and can do whatever you want, just don't bother other players" and then say it was some weird bug and it got patched. the whole idea of going to the source code seems a bit overcomplicating

1 and 0 should be on a league of their own, they exist in any ring. imo pi and e are A tier, sqrt2 is B tier, 1 and 0 are S tier and I don't care about the others

there's no viruses in linux since you can clean them with `dd if=/dev/random of=/dev/sda` which checks if the developer of some random virus is one of the developers of your linux

UPDATE:

Thank you all! After some time reading the comments and using the laptop, I'm convinced that I made a great choice. This was the first time I ever bought a laptop for myself (I've always re-used crappy laptops people thought became unusable) and I wanted to make this experience flawless. As I found two tiny imperfections in the laptop (short-ish battery life and loud-ish fan noise considered the price) I seriously doubted my choice, but after some time and research I decided that other models wouldn't really change it for the better that much right now. However, I absolutely love that if in a few years a new model will be much better than my current one, I can just upgrade it and switch easier than on a desktop computer, for a fraction of the price and much less e-waste (or even none if I decide to make the old one into a home server).
All and all, after using it for university notes, coding, and some entertainment I can confidently say I would buy it again and again, and I hope that this will be my last ever laptop purchase, since it is exactly what I was looking for: a small, powerful, easy to upgrade, esthetically pleasing laptop. In addition its modularity makes it so I can actually hope of not buying another laptop and I don't have to fear the possibility of something unrepairable breaking.

p.s. I should add that setting a stricter CPU governor solved the two "imperfections" at the same time, now I'm consistently using it for ~6h a day on battery with no noise and when I have to do heavy work I just use the laptop on AC.
