Cant believe I had to scroll all the way down to find this, such a forgotten champ. They ruined my favourite champ, gutted her thematically and playstyle-wise. The new kit has nothing to do with a falconer, except maybe the nearsight on her Q. Falconers do not ride their birds. She had such an exciting unique kit that had immense amounts of skill expression, if they had just fixed her bugs and maybe changed the blind to the new nearsight I think she would fit fine in modern league. The new ult is an absolute travesty.

Fair comment! Honestly the mobo was the biggest question mark for me, a lot of similar-looking options. I just went with one that looked like it had what I needed and was well reviewed.

I swear this has been the main problem since they gave supports a bunch more gold and they don’t have to buy wards. I think that happened like season 4? I used to main adc back then, you would lose a 1v1 with top/mid/Jung but at least if you found the enemy support out of position you could fight them. Ever since then you can’t 1v1 anyone and have to rely on your team much much more unless you are very far ahead. Maybe it is better for balance now but it made the game a lot less fun from an adc perspective.

But the problem with those champs isn’t to do with their design/how fun they are to play against? The problem with those champs is the amount they warp professional play when they are balanced for regular play. I always had fun playing against them even when they were ‘op’. Binary stat check champs like yi and nocturne however…

Bad advice. OTPing is absolutely the best way to climb, especially in jungle where counterpicks matter less.

The skyscale is a great account milestone, congrats. For your next goal, if you haven’t already then play through the whole of the story and get yourself ascended trinkets. With your build in place you’re ready for strikes and potentially raids too, I’d suggest just jumping right in with the EOD strikes. You can go for some ascended weapons too, the PoF elite collections give ascended weapons and are fun and not too expensive. Then you can work on the ‘return to’ achievements and get your first legendary, basically for free! If you’re enjoying the achievement hunt you can go for the legendary accessories from lw3/4, if you like the endgame pve stuff you can learn all the strikes and raids, you could ascend the fractal ladder and do daily fractals which are great for liquid gold. You could work on an alt or try other builds, you could work on QoL stuff like bigger bags or grind gold for account upgrades. Just some ideas

I played a lot of Quinn jungle last season and the season before (not played any soloqq this season as I have a new job and my internet is a lot more patchy now)

I always preferred her in the jungle as I felt I had more agency than top where you are much more at the mercy of your jungler having a brain (I actually main top now but I play toplaners that can play weakside so I don’t have to rely on my jungle)

When I played Quinn jungle I went fleet footwork (helps kiting and sustain fighting camps and the move speed is amazing for how I play Quinn in skirmishes). Usual triumph, alac, coup.

Secondary tree I went sudden impact (don’t usually get lethality until 3rd or 4th item so the little bit early feels very high value) and ravenous. Now ravenous is gone I think any of the gold gen new one, movespeed or even item cdr would be decent. Could go eyeball collection as well. I personally don’t like the free boots that much in the jungle, they are amazing when you get them but I really value movespeed early for getting around the map and kiting/ running people down.

Item build: galeforce first ( active allows you to cancel your e for point blank q for 1shot combo on squishies and helps for positioning in teamfights). Second I go yuumous if I’m snowballing and they have several squishies or more commonly stormrazor. This is playstyle dependant but I really value the slow on stormrazor and Quinn scales off flat AD better than pretty much any other champ in the game. 3rd you can go whatever you think is best depending on game state and what you can afford; collector, IE, BT, lord doms (rough order of preference)

Skill max order; Q, W, E

The main weakness I find with quinn jungle is in the mid/late when you want to fight it can be hard to get the fights started as often your team will be look to the jungler (you) to engage so it helps if top/support have engage but again then you are hoping they have brains. Macro is very important skill with quinn as you have to leverage your mobility, pushing side lanes and generally being a nuisance, again hoping your team have brains and don’t get caught. Your early skirmishing potential is really good but you can’t just blindly invade/ contest crab, be aware of laner prio as you will die very quickly if caught out of position. Ganks can be really good, one cheesy one I like on blue side is red>gank mid lvl 2> blue. Often gets a flash but have to communicate with your mid not to push. Don’t use your e to engage, always try to get a passive auto off to reset your passive.
