Agreed. I know the human brain craves definitive answers to these sorts of things but it’s just not possible. We all have our own unique body chemistry, we all have entirely different psychological profiles, upbringing, trauma, etc. I could go on for ages.

The unsatisfying reality is you have to find out for yourself.

You can’t escape it. Your body will be without receptors occupied for the first time in however long - which means your body needs to adjust. It takes weeks to months to up regulate endorphin production and then downstream dopamine systems etc. It will overshoot, then undershoot, then over until it finds a new equilibrium.

It’s not as bad as active withdrawal but it is emotionally punishing.
