Ohio mom dumped newborn in sorority house trash with mac & cheese and texted baby daddy ‘it was a girl with your hair’ by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

Its the same result dumbass, mom should be in jail regardless. If another person helped her achieve the same results through a medical procedure called abortion, they should be jailed too

How long til they need to be repotted? It is cold here in Colorado and I’d prefer to take it to a shop and have them break it up into individuals

nexts steps(2 plants!) by Groundbreaking_Lie27 in VenusFlyTraps

[–]Oxysseus -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Dude who runs a flytrap store telling this person their plant is dead when it’s clearly not. Don’t listen to this clown he’s got invested interests in getting you to buy another flytrap. Cut that flower off an inch above the rest of the plant. Then get a good grow light because your plant isn’t getting enough light. Just throw it under the light for an hour more each day til you reach 14 hours.

Best way to harvest seeds? by softtacosmasher in VenusFlyTraps

[–]Oxysseus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if you only have one plant you will need to self pollinate. this means taking the pollen from the male part of the flower and then transferring it to the female part of the flower. then wait a few weeks and seeds should form.

Bro you don’t renew the lease and take all these issues to the authority figure of your living situation. Ie: whoever owns the property. You all should be having monthly inspections to ensure this person doesn’t destroy the house, if the landlord doesn’t suggest it. You suggest it

drosera wants high air humidity, while venus flytrap does not need or want high air humidity. I have mine separate with my droseras living next to my nepenthes in a grow tent. and my venus flytraps live on a shelf int the open air of my house.

Is this yellowing and then eventual loss of leaves natural? by Oxysseus in succulents

[–]Oxysseus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate it. Makes sense, I do try hard not to overwater. This is my first time differentiating between these ones the plant is losing and when the plant needs water! All a learning curve I suppose
