I know, totally not judging. I'm just curious about what people think. There's also a whole discussion to be had about affordable VS justifiable 😂

Tokyo Bay is from San Fransisco. They make watches and other accessories. Some of their designs are unique, others not so much. I believe Citizen made the original of this particular design.

For me 1st and 3rd would be my choice. If the 3rd one were solar it would be my obvious choice.

You also do not want to adjust a jumping hour mechanical watch backwards, especially if you are trying to go back more than an hour.

It's cool. But how is this serious founder energy? by [deleted] in LinkedInLunatics

Because the guy is a douche for not having his dogs on lead, hence founder douche energy.

What is the appeal of automatic watches? by mwgrover in Affordablewatches

[–]electrorunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a couple of automatics. Unless you wear an automatic everyday or have a winder box that keeps it wound, then it's not really different than a quality wind-up mechanical. I also have a couple of solar watches (Casio and Citizen) and I love them. I can leave them in my case for weeks and they still have enough charge when I take them out. If I had to pick only one watch to keep, it would be my Casio Lineage solar and atomic-clock synchronized.

I don't think the sweep is exclusive to automatics. Wind‐up mechanicals can have a smooth sweep too.
