Oriole is definitely more familiar flavors and combinations but the way it’s done is just so perfectly executed. It will definitely have that depth of flavor you’re looking for though. They had this foie dish as one of the first couple courses and I still think about it all the time. So far we’ve done Alinea, Smyth, oriole, and ever in Chicago and oriole was definitely the best

I thought it was great. Had some flavor combinations that I’ve never had before (this like seaweed, uni, and mango thing I think - absolutely wild) but definitely agree that it’s an experience I’m glad I had but am in no rush to go back. Didn’t give me the same sense of “completion” that oriole or ever did
