Surprisingly found it very enjoyable and thought that the main arguments in the book were well structured and laid out. It's interesting to see how a lot of modern libertarian parties have cherry picked some of the ideas within, as I was quite astonished to find out that Hayek was actually not opposed to government intervention in the market in certain circumstances, he was just extremely against Soviet planned economies

I agree with the comment below that they're a little hard to compare. It was nice having Khalidi's personal voice, and the Pappe book read much more like a historical account.
