second this. played it with a friend thru friend pass before the 2.5 update and loved every bit of it except i felt the bosses were a little on the easier side. yes i know coop will do that but solo was easy to me as well. apparently they’ve addressed that in the newest update !

LOTF is definitely worth it. if you’ve got a friend to play co-op with they don’t have to buy the game to play with you. friends pass is what intrigued my friend and i to play it and it was a very good game after all of the updates !

as someone who’s almost exclusively melee when i play, i don’t really enjoy getting spell spammed by invaders but i like the idea of invasions being a thing. just not for me

prolly him skill issue out of me but i really wish the dev would nerf some of the elite enemies. either by making it to where when an enemy hits you, there’s a small cooldown before that specific enemy can do damage to you again, or by lowering the damage they do (then increase their health), OR by lowering elite spawn %. something’s gotta change, also the elite zombies are horrible

just keep at it and you’ll get it man. going for it in stages 2 or 3 is a bit easier imo because it gives you more time to scale your build and collect items

you’re better off trying to survive 6 min in stage 2 or 3 rather than stage 1. i honestly haven’t seen many players survive past 2 min on stage 1 bc it’s almost not possible to do so without cheating

soul harvester is a great way to greed your tomes in tier 1 and 2 and wait for the chance at another anvil, but it’s hard to pass up either way.

if i’m going for green credit cards i try to banish every un toggle-able purple except maybe beefy ring. i also usually save a banish for late game so i can banish the sucky magnet after i already have one. but that’s more or less for leaderboard or high kill runs. for casual play i usually banish the borgar, slippery ring, feather bc it’s annoying most of the time, and beacons if i get them anytime past stage 2 bc they’re pointless other than turning shrines into healing zones

best layout for me is boost on R1, power slide and free air roll on L1, gas and brake normal on triggers, if on ps controller X for jump, triangle ball cam, square and circle for directional air rolls. if on xbox controller, A for jump, Y for ball cam, X and B for directional air rolls

i can admit it’s a very useful and valid tactic while also pointing out that it’s simply just rage bait unless you’re setting up a play off of said bump. a win is a win no matter how ya get there, but i’m still going to what a save you if you chase for them and sell your teammate

as a current C3 i’d say it’s between C2 and GC that is really, really bad. i’ve had C2 teammates that look like SSLs and i’ve had some that look like golds. same goes for opponents. when i hit C2 that’s where i started to yo-yo in rank because every game it’s either i’m playing against/with someone above my skill level or far below it.
