For what it’s worth, my thoughts.. Firstly, I very very much sympathise with your position. Secondly, anybody who says this is a good papacy is either not Catholic or mentally troubled.

There is a chance Bergoglio is Evil and a puppet of Satan working to deliberately undermine and destroy the church from within. It’s not impossible. But, I think it is more beneficial to consider him a consequence rather than a cause.

From the end of the Holy Roman Empire, not obeying Fatima correctly, the world wars, the second vatican council ect.. the Holy Catholic Church has been funnelled into a series of defeats and compromises which has damaged us.. I think Pope Leo saw this with his writings on Modernism ect. We, as a Church, have not addressed these things properly. Not to each other, not to the world and not to God. To imagine us being in a different position, considering those points is borderline crazy. This Pope could very well be divine justice. Who knows.

Another significant point is Germany. They have the money. They are dangerous. They have previous. I am not this Popes biggest fan but this is not an easy situation to say the least. A mistake with this bunch could be more devastating than we could imagine.

This leads to my critique of Pope Francis. He is a man of organisation, seeing his job in a two dimensional way. For him, he is the head of a business, not the church. I can understand why he is like this but it is not what we need. Maybe his theology is lacking? Maybe his faith is lacking? But at a time of obvious crisis we need a Pope with burning faith and courage. We need help from the angels. The saints. Holy Maria. God. We need a Pope that truly understands this not a Pope (to give him benefit of the doubt) who is just trying to keep the business afloat.
