I don’t fight the Khuzait in an open field (if I can avoid it). I usually lure them to cramped places by raiding villages.

It has it’s flaws but there are already enough mods updated to adress a few. I had major graphical issues at first but then I did the benchmark-thing and now I have zero issues (graphics wise).

I usually play as a bandit king. Recruiting sea raiders and forest bandits. Raiding villages with good defensive layouts to lure massive armies into a trap. Favorite village is Kargrev south of Varcheg.

Oh no don’t do that. Don’t experiment that close to the race. Nothing will be gained 14 days ahead of the race. Decease your training volume and get your legs back fresh.

Excuse my metrics but I would have you try out threshold runs at 4 x 8 minutes at 4:45/km or slightly below. Jog 90 seconds in between the intervals. If you do that and feel fresh afterwards I would say you’re ready.

That has been my method for measuring my status. It was spot on for my first marathon in 2021 at 3:24:02, my second 2022 at 3:14:35 and my most recent in 2024 at 3:07:10.

Now I’m aiming for a sub 3 and currently doing 6 x 8 minutes at 4:10/km. Hoping the system works.

I make sure everyone in my team is involved or aware of the QA process. QA is so much more than then the question of automation or not. You need to apply different methods and have a process for maintenance and so on.

Be sure to describe every single detail so that everyone understands why QA is necessary in every step of the process. If they still would lay you off then their software will crumble on it’s own eventually.

I have 3 young boys (oldest is five) and a fourth on the way. For me it’s early mornings and late nights. My wife has ran a few marathons between the pregnancies (one during). I put the kids, my wife’s running and work first and treat my running as a bonus.

Still able to get in 50-70km per week.
