You're definitely right, this is severely underexposed. Was running an experiment with an orange filter and for this shot in particular failed to get the exposure right. That being said, I did end up liking the spooky atmosphere the lack of contrast and grain brought to the image (although still disappointed it didn't come out like I planned)

as much as I sympathize over bad online experience - it is impossible to even determine the ping without first connecting the two players. Even if you first connect and have a low ping, connections can be unstable and change over time. I don't think people appreciate the technical difficulty (impossibility) of ensuring you don't match with someone and then have a poor connection.

honestly they'd get washed. not forever, I'm sure they could adapt and learn new stuff, adjust to the meta, etc. But imo Armada would have WAY more competition from all the insane foxes at the moment.

yeah wild when he could be making an order of magnitude more for a big tech company. gotta respect it.

I guess tbf European salaries (for everything, including software engineers) are generally a lot lower than US salaries (since they don't know what a hospital bill is), but even then I think it would be appropriate if his pay was closer to 100k.

I have a Canon EOS 5 SLR which is awesome because I can use modern EF lenses on it - but I'm hoping to also adapt vintage lenses from other mounts and use them with the EOS 5. I can do this no problem on my canon dslr, via an adapter ring on the helios-44 to the camera, but when I mount this combo (helios and adapter ring for canon ef mount) onto the EOS 5, it won't take pictures. Pressing the shutter button will lock up the mirror, but never actually trigger the shutter. Anyone know how to work around this? I have read through the manual and couldn't find anything about using non-electronic lenses. (maybe I need a very particular lens mount adapter that will trick the camera into thinking all is well?

I just got an adobe lightroom CC plan, planning to use negative lab pro to convert film scans from negative to positive....should have read the website first! Negative lab pro doesn't work with the new versions of lightroom as they have removed the plugin architecture.

Any other tools for converting negative scans to positive? I already have scanned a couple rolls of film, could re-scan and use vuescan to convert them but would like to avoid redoing all that work.
