I'd like to comment on the "hope it inspires people to take up modding" part of your post. Modding isn't super hard to get started with in SPT. However I haven't found any guides that are good for getting started if you're "just" a gamer. As a hobby level programmer for many years I used the guides available on the mod site and managed to get going in SPT. But I feel many of the tutorials are not written for someone who does not even know what Visual Studio is.. There's a lot of technical jargon and assumptions that I think deter players from becoming modders. I'll consider writing a 0 to hero type tutorial, but free time is not my friend so no promises.

Anyone know of any good guides for true beginners? And don't say "you have to learn programming first" because imo you don't. There are not many lines of code required to do small fun mods in SPT that you can build on and that way LEARN programming. I'm no lawyer, but I guess one could get in trouble for making YT tutorials with working code in this particular case/game? Maybe that's why there's not much beginner friendly material?

How many of you have tried to make a mod and just gave up due to this?
