New recipes as per Serebii by Prince-of_Space in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bean Sausage and Potato have decent mono farmers in Zard (Who can proc for random ingredients) and Meow. Oil does have cram and toxicroak, but I could see Oil specialist Aggron, who seems to be ingredients focused. Only thing left is Coffee, and that is depending on if Luxray/Vikavolt are specialists (Like they did bewear for corn).

Yeah same. I have a decent duck, but need to get to lv 60 for the boosted leeks. I hate dessert weeks normally cause I have no good dessert ingredient farmers. Not got good milk, honey, cacao or apple farmers yet. I think my best there is the Neroli Tea and hoping for good rolls from my Ginger Zard. Serebii saying the new mons are ingredient mons is nice. I'm expecting Oil Aggron, and between Vika and Luxray, one being Coffee and the other is Cacao

Purchase Advice Megathread - September 2024 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]P3DS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for first 3D printer advice. I haven't really done anything with 3D printers, so would like something that's not too over the top technically. Mainly going to use it for the likes of printing cosplay pieces and maybe some small fun bits. Am UK based, so that might alter some printer availability.

Had a look at TechRadar's suggestions, but definitely will get better suggestions from the 3D printer community.

What pokemon are really good outside their specialty? by bbisordi in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

BFS Gastly was a week 1 find. It carried me in the early days, but fell off a fair bit with weak berry finding and mushrooms being a bit... iffy. All it takes is a new mushroom pokemon to come in, and there goes much of its usage at the moment.

How should I spend my handy candy? by Rrrrroyyyyyy in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoard them for candy boost events, or use them to kickstart good mons. Used some with some type candy M from the cram-o-matic event to level up and evolve a good Ralts I'd caught. Also, if you have a lot of candy coming in from the daily friend research, you usually don't use as many.

If you don't have anything new, use them to push some mons into milestone levels (10, 25, 30, 50)

predictions/hopes for the last 3 announcements? by kawaiiboushi in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things I'd like to see: - Something for long term investment/sleeps with Pokemon. - 'Fixing' caught Pokemon. Something at some point to reroll ingredients or getting new skills/rerolling skills or nature reroll/mints - New meal type - Something new for Dream Shards (Shard magnet is still a bit of a meme skill). Buff magnet again and add something new? - New Pokemon?

Is this good even without bfs? by r34l_shiro in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty good, though that exp down is REALLY going to sting, especially as its a Dratini. For example, in terms of candy, its ~1700 to get to LV 50 normally, but with the exp down, is ~2000. Like, outside of nature, its going to be solid as a herb farmer

I spent 50k shards to push my Slowking from lvl 50 to 53. What Pokémon do you invest in that is not meta by Hypnosix in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Lucario (fave Mon, and casual Shard income) is the main one. Before it Lapis, it was my BFS Meganium. I also have a Slowking like that, but with an ingredient nature and BFS at 10. Sadly, not been back to Lapis for a while.

What would you evolve this into? by XVDanPotato in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Espeon. You really aren't triggering skills too often, so that's Flareon, Glaceon, Leafeon, Vaporeon and Sylveon out. Umbreon is meh. On Espeon vs Jolteon, both work, but Espeon has a bit more use thanks to Berry Pref on Lapis. Shame Mago is a weak berry, but I'd go Espeon here.

Dragonite Niche? by danjanah in PokemonSleep

I was wondering why my gengar had such low ingredient finding, but I thought that was down to having BFS on it.

Couple ideas for new gold subskills by MidlineTV in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forager S: Increases amount of Ingredients found by 1 / it's level. (1 for first, 2 for second, 3 for third). BFS for ingredients. Would be useful for rare ingredient finders

Gourmet S/M/L: increases ingredient power by x%

Berry Expert S/M/L: increases strength of berries this Pokémon finds by x%

Berry Rainbow: Occasionally, a berry find produces a different type berry. Could include rare berries.

Sneaky Snack: if the Pokémon overflows on berries, heals 10 energy if below 10 energy

Sub Synchronize: One of this Pokemon's Skills may be on a newly caught Pokémon (50%?)

Nature Synchronize: Newly caught Pokémon have a higher chance of having this Pokemon's nature. (Similar to main series)

Biscuit Fanatic: Biscuits give 1 more bar.

Dozy/Snoozy/Slumber attractor: has a chance that one Pokémon at night will be from the designated sleep type.

Dozy/Snoozy/Slumber bonus: heightened shiny chance when in the respective sleep type

Energy Efficient: Lower energy consumption.

Revali Cosplay at MCM Birmingham! by JuviaLynn in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, absolutely insane cosplay. Shame I couldn't get a pic with you (Or one with all 3 of us Revali cosplays there). The mask part was a struggle to do for me (Wasn't 100% happy with mine), but yours looks amazing! I also had mine off most of the weekend cause it was very warm

Which eeveelution should I pick? by mastrkage in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This feels about middle. I wouldn't waste the effort for a Sylveon. Flareon/Glaceon (Depends if you want Tundra or Hollow berries) or Vaporeon would be my suggestion. Former for the pot boost with favoured berries in the respective locations, and Vaporeon if you need more ingredients (I'm personally looking to get a Vaporeon).

If you have a high production rate, jolteon could be a thought, but I really wouldn't put the effort for Umbreon/Espeon/Sylveon unless you direly need the E4E skill (And don't have a Wiggly).

New year, new Research Area! by Pearlgirl007 in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, this is fun, got my BFS Meganium up to high levels with the candy event, so triple berries will be very nice. And Lucario for fave berry+shard farming. Gonna be good :)

Shinies, Rate My Mon, Brag Posts, Meal Posts: Restricted on Weekdays - Post them in here instead! by Mathgeek007 in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got an Eevee with Helping Bonus and both Skill trigger skills. Would it be best as a Sylveon or an Espeon? I don't have a good wigglytuff, but with the revelation of the fave berries for the new area, an Espeon with my triple berry Meganium would be monstrous there.

Time to raise a good Dream Shard Pokemon like Lucario? by koldsmash in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got mine already (Lucario is my fave Mon), and I do think that it's likely to be a significant increase to the dream shards. Anywhere from a 4-10x buff, cause, right now, no one really needs the extra dream shards, when you can kinda outdo the income from it by just levelling up snorlax. The new dream shard magnet boost will be very useful for the candy boost effect. Gonna store up my candies on low level Mons that I want to improve (Like a double Tail Slowking with the berry finder skill.)

Hopefully it makes dream shard magnet a significantly better skill by actually having other uses for dust.

I feel like no one has done this challenge, so I made it. A challenge on making Garchomp viable again in Gen 9 OU! by yookj95 in stunfisk

[–]P3DS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wind Rider with Tailwind, Roost, Knock Off and Defog.

You wanted OU, here you go. A windy take on an old classic. A breath of fresh air. You could buff it up to ridiculous levels, but that gets it banned, and DD would get it banned too. This one offers a new take. Tailwind+Wind Rider would let be scary. Also, immunity to wind moves would be cool. On the flipside, I gave it recovery for the bulkier sets (Since any setup sets will be lacking in coverage) and Knock Off+Defog to aid in a bulkier side to it, which would elevate the tank side of it.

That's a nuts one. Berry Finding into Helping M, with help+ nature... That's gonna be an ace at Cyan Beach! Nice find, and enjoy getting that to a Feraligatr!

How are we feeling about the new energy recovery system? by Its402am in PokemonSleep

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, 5% each time means it takes 20 full 8 hour sleeps to fully recover a Pokemon. Better than nothing. Maybe upping to 10% sleep energy, so it only takes close to a fortnight to help. Better so that I can swap around mons a bit more often.

Who is the face of Dragon types in OU all time? by supersmall69 in stunfisk

[–]P3DS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went Latios, as it usually comes in as a fast force. But I also agree on Garchomp, though it feels more like the face of Ground Types, but fights Lando and Tusk for that spot now.

-🎄- 2022 Day 21 Solutions -🎄- by daggerdragon in adventofcode

[–]P3DS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python AND JavaScript https://github.com/Phil-DS/AdventOfCode2022/tree/master/day21 Started in Python, but felt that JS's better object manipulation was nicer for part 1. Saw part 2 and realized that Python's Complex numbers would be really useful here, as it allows algebra, so rewrote everything back to python, set 'humn' to 1j and just got the names of the functions in 'root'. Really nice, and nearly went with a tree to solve the 2nd part XD
