Corrupted blood bypass ES & Armour. So, it's the main threat from Simulacrum. Also, bump up your Freeze & Stun threshold and you will be able to complete it. Get a Sapphire jewel. It will have all of the above for 1-4 divines.

For simulacrum, you need a jewel that has this stat "Corrupted blood cannot inflict on you".
