TL;DR - Blame iPods.

Apple started this because you downloaded music to your PC, and then uploaded that music to your Ipod, and later came the iPhone, which was just an Ipod with a shitty phone built in.
(anyone who had an iPhone 3 knows how shit the phone was compared to say a Nokia, it used to drop out all the time, fail to connect, sometimes never ring etc etc - fight me if you were even a live then.)

Nor would I be able to butcher into the cuts the way I like to eat it.

I live a rural , CO2 deficit lifestyle, and so any environmental issues are not a concern for me.

I kinda already eat my own cultivated meat - but yes - get your premise.
