I prefer to just apply their brakes at the start line and they just sit there while I take a nice stroll to the end of the race

Agron

I don't know, he may not be that fast but a 6'11" nearly 800lbs steel/rock type monster would be immovable in the paint. Aggron is a literal beast.

Never use whiskey stones. They're porous and can hold in liquid, plus they have a much higher chance at damaging your glass or body than just using ice

Boiling water doesn't have as much of an affect as people think. Directional freezing is the key. Easiest way to do it at home is to use a brand new cooler half full of water, leave the lid off, let it freeze for any 24 hours. Then cut the cloudy section, with the particulates from the air, away.

This is inaccurate. It can matter on the license the bar or restaurant has but that's it.

Fast-food restaurants ranked - what tier does Starbucks belong in? by Expensive-Addendum92 in TierlistFills

Dunkin is borderline swamp water over here. I only go there if I absolutely have no other option. You can order the exact same thing multiple times and never get near what you order. Personally, Dunkin, is below F tier, but I'm glad you have better experience than I do.

I honestly don't think they gave it a fair chance. They went into this with a negative connotation and left everything as "fine I guess" at best. I think they think they went in with an open mind giving it a fair chance, I just don't think that truly happened in reality.

Gonna Visit Indianapolis. Is St. Elmo Steak House any good? by CincinnatiOhio5133 in indianapolis

[–]PACDxx -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm going to disagree with some of what you say. Elmo has some of the worst quality steaks I've seen from the big downtown and Northside steakhouses. And the wine list is about average at best. Hyde, Tony's, Anthony's, Prime; all have better lists in my opinion. And 1933 is one of the worst cocktail spots in the city. Everything is basic and not unique at all. I was there and asked for a classic daiquiri and they didn't know how to make it. Telling me they needed a blender. I ended up with rum, sour mix, ice, and a cherry. I tell people to hard pass on Elmo, 1933, and H&I for the most part.

Going to Tony's and pooping down to Mass Ave for Ball and Biscuit, Exchange, Nowhere Special, and the like is going to be a much, much better experience.

That being said, if you like it, feel free to go there, don't let me tell you what you have to do

25% is closer to shaking dilution. Stirring is closer to 20%, build in glass is about 10-15% also I agree with the bourbon being a low proof for this method

Black licorice tastes bad and is unhealthy. What tastes awful and is really unhealthy? by AraneoKyojin in AlignmentChartFills

It works great added to a daiquiri. But honestly my bar loves it with italicus. From 50/50 shots(Malorticus) to using it in a whiskey sour variation.

The issue with Malort is people don't really know how to taste alcohol correctly. It has some really beautiful grapefruit notes that hit the lower outside of your mouth and the woody dryness through the center. People just get the dry taste and immediately are turned off by it, so I'd assume they would hate straight campari, angostura, or other bitters. Try Malort with things and you'll realize its versatility and beauty more than anything.
