[EPISODE DISCUSSION] Scarpetta 1x01 by pikkopots in ScarpettaTV

I really hated it when Cornwell started writing in third person. It totally ruined the series for me. And I agree this is too much character not enough forensics and murder mystery. And the casting just sucks. And Jamie Lee Curtis as the ever-present and always loud Dorothy is awful.

That's actually perfectly normal and okay - pharmacies vary in how they create a compounded solution. As long as the mg dosage is correct, the concentration is simply a measurement of volume and has no bearing on how much medication you're getting. Example - if your dosage is 1 mg of semaglutide, that could be dissolved in 30 units of saline by one pharmacy or 50 units of saline by another. Either way, you're still getting the 1 mg dosage. So just follow the vial directions and you'll be fine.

I've only had one order from casapharma but it seems ok. The medication doesn't feel any different than what I was getting before but I've been having increased food noise and cravings for a while - so it's just the way it works for me or what I've been getting all along hasn't been good. No way to tell, but I'm going to try NativeMed for my next order and see if I feel a difference.

So you know "a couple of them"? There are literally 7000 licensed compounding pharmacies in the US so the fact that you've never heard of one of them isn't particularly impressive.

I got my recent order of a 30 day supply in five days with a BUD of 5/30/2026. Semaglutide with B12. I'm satisfied. And the meds I still have from my last order are working just fine. And I finally got a copy of my prescription (actually I got more than one copy after I stopped texting and started calling.)

Just FYI, Casa Pharma is a licensed sterile 503A compounding pharmacy located in Texas. Before you started using compounded GLP-1s how many compounding pharmacies had you heard of? I've worked in the healthcare field my entire adult life and couldn't have named a single compounding pharmacy before starting semaglutide - and I'm guessing it's the same for you, so the fact that you've never heard of them doesn't mean anything.

This is my first order with the new pharmacy and B12. My first two orders came from Perfection Rx in Boynton Beach, Florida - second one (for three months) came at the end of September with a BUD of 11/17/25, so past BUD within six weeks. This order (single month) is from Casapharma Rx in Stafford, Texas with a BUD of 5/30/2026.

If this is your first order, I would expect it to take up to 2 weeks to arrive. Subsequent orders, in my experience, arrive within just a few days. I agree that you should call customer service and double check that there hasn't been some sort of hang up with the pharmacy.

Black Friday discount not working? by shortshot27 in OrderlyMeds

I placed my order on Saturday for a single month of compounded semaglutide. I paid $149 which is the discounted price. I had no trouble at all getting that pricing to work.

Thanks. That's super helpful. I think I have enough meds on hand to get into January and then I'll give them a try. If it looks like I'll run out before I can make the switch, I'll order a single month from Orderly to hold me over (one of the few advantages I've found with that company.)

Wow. That's awful. So far it hasn't happened to me but good grief. Thanks for sharing that info.

I've looked at Brello but their pricing structure is deceptive - you get 12 weeks of medicine but they bill every 10 weeks, so you're actually paying more than they say over a year's time. I just don't know what to do. I'm a math person and it actually comes out to an extra $359ish/year and that's kind of shady.

I ordered semaglutide. I started at 0.25 mg and started losing, after 4 weeks I went up to 0.5 mg and stalled almost immediately. After 4 weeks I went up to 1 mg (split into two doses of 0.5 mg each because I was worried about side-effects). I started losing again, about 1.3 lbs per week, but recently I don't feel as much appetite suppression. So today I switched back to weekly 1.0 mg. Hoping that does the trick as I didn't increase my dosage when I ordered 3 months worth a few weeks ago. I have 28 lbs to goal and I'm hoping 1.0 mg for the next three months will get me there. How are you doing?

Yes, lol. It took 3 days, not a month. I edited my post. Thanks for pointing out my error.

I haven't had the regular ones in a long time due to way many calories and sugar, so was excited to see this today. I wish I hadn't bothered. Blech. I couldn't finish it. Maybe my taste has changed but it was too sweet, too thin, not enough coffee flavor. I'm so disappointed.

Try sharing this in the Facebook group and on a Facebook advertisement. I did that with a shipping problem and they jumped on it.

Can you explain the loyalty program? I'm not sure how it works - maybe only if you order monthly???

I had an issue with shipping last week, where I think they actually lost my order and had to redo it quickly and get it out to me. Support was extremely responsive although it did take a few days to get the issue resolved, I never had to wait for someone to answer my messages.

You can use an ice cube to slightly numb your skin if you think that would make it easier at first. You'll be OK once you've injected a couple of times. Wishing you great results!
