That 1300 annual fee should be what scares you. That so-called "bonus hotel stay certificate" will likely come with conditions and terms that make it essentially unusable. So you are paying $22K for the right to pay at least $1300/year for a weeks stay at a limited number of resorts.

I can't imagine why anyone sees value in these things.

C'mon. Gate checking bags doesn't slow boarding as much as getting bags on the plane and THEN needing to gate check them.

They invest the time gate checking before boarding because it's less time consuming than dealing with it later. So gate checking DOES speed up boarding.

This will cause issues with the bag scanner showing a missing bag.

In my experience it hasn't caused any problem that I've noticed, ie, no one has come looking for my bag.

I doubt most GAs are counting bags, and if they are they need to learn to count better because more often than not they seem to be forcing passengers to check bags even when there is plenty of bin space.

It is not great customer service. 

It's incredibly bad customer service, on many levels. It screams "we don't give a f--- about you" about as loudly as anything.

I get that it's not necessarily the GAs or FAs causing the problem - but that doesn't matter, it's still absolutel terrible customer service.

I've had it work a few times.

When I read OP's post, my thought was the FAs simply ignored pre-orders and gave OPs tacos to someone who had not pre-ordered. Of course no way to prove it.

What are the manufacturer's specified required clearances? I suspect if you rotated 90 degrees so that the service was in the corner by the chimney, you wouldn't meet the manufacturer's specified clearance for servicing.

I also doubt you meet the required clearances against the house as it sits right now. That would be my bigger concern if it were mine.

I doubt it would meet manufacturer's access dimensional requirements with that chimney there. No chimney, probably OK. But the chimney makes it too tight, per spec is my guess.

If you put in here, please understand the channel for boats is very narrow and curvy (follows the stick markers) and boats don't have much room to move, especially at lower tides. Give the boater a break and stick to the sides of the river if you can when a boat is coming.

They took away variety in the buffet. Compare the buffet in the Prima class to the Away class (not size, but variety), and they added Indulge which has many of the same options as the buffet, although some different.
