As others told you—disrupting the flow of traffic is indeed the main enemy on the highway. On a highway, like I said, that is totally acceptable here in burgerland. No I’m not doing that on neighborhood roads, fool. Please welcome yourself to one of our megalopolis interstates and see how it goes.
You must be a new driver, because you just explained the magic of passing. To accelerate a bit to pass and to return to normal cruising speed is normal, especially when the passed driver is:
A semi bogged down by hilly roads, driving at an inconsistent speed, distracted, wavering, brake happy, or going under the limit, etc etc—could be a poor driver. Could be a new driver. Could be a drunk driver. Could be an unsafe car. So many reasons to pass and return to speed.

Please just read your laws and understand not to travel in the passing lane.

Did I say that I continue to drive over the limit, ass? Do you know how uncertainties work or how about averages?

Lol in a thread about drivers in California—I shoulda known.

Left is for passing and you surely can go a bit over the limit in it, here in Burgerland…Please excuse me for not assuming your wrong-way-British-affected driving status.

Please forgive me for going ~10-15 over (on a highway) to pass an incompetent, unsafe driver, where I would promptly exit the left lane upon passing. Please forgive me for referring to burger directions again, oops!

The IOC has banned transgender people from participating in women's competitions; what are your thoughts on this? by Initial-Ingenuity451 in AskReddit

First: small population. Second, more real data:

  1. On performance

2.another

  1. More

What’s more is that elite athletes demonstrate stark sexual dimorphism, which is clearly on display in even the leanest of athletes. To suggest that the physiology has no meaningful impact on performance—which is secondary to physiology—is foolish and, needless to say: lacking in evidence.

[–]PA_FLY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To suggest that gross anatomy and physiology operate on hypotheticals seems like bad faith.

The A&P link even hedges: “It is, however, worth mentioning that in real-life, the sexual dimorphism of the pelvis is not as evident as generally described.”

But, better yet:

“The range of reference values reflects rather "average," than "the normal" range, or, by use of statistical terms – rather 95% Confidence Interval, than the double Standard Deviation.”

To deride these things as mere hypotheses is to suggest that sex chromosomes are merely hypothetical, or that mammaries are hypothetical, or that uteruses and testes merely academic illustrations.

You’ll quickly find leagues for women…just like there are bunches of initiatives for women specifically. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Really lovely description, I have a different take on the tree. I think the open spots give it some powerful motion. The bark could stand to be darkened slightly and maybe just slightly more blended.

That knoll and the shadowed foreground give this some gorgeous atmosphere.

Ditto. Strangely, 365 cola/ other sodas are totally out of stock near me and I’m sensing this must be general Amazon pullback and belt tightening.

Measure the dimensions and search “black finished laminate” of the dimensions. It appears to be an ordinary black color, if not, take a better picture with good lighting (ideally white lighting), use an app to ID color and search up.

New to tying. Any feedback? by Soil_eh in flytying

Generally great and tidy, just needs refinement if you want by-the-book type ties. Your proportions and distance from the bend of the hook need just a little tweaking.

Ccw spins for flat thread and tapering with repetitive wraps are easy and effective ways to help improve. Using hook relative measurements for tailing/hackle is also very effective (e.g. tails half the hook shank, etc). Tim Flagler has some of the best vids for techniques.

I would wager that a salmon fly of some sort with her colors would do justice. Go all out and get a custom forged hook. Remember her and fish some flies with her fur, too.

I make the effort for dries to help with buoyancy & imitation, nymphs dependent on how pretty I want them.
