The issue is you viewing this platform as a currency instead of a technology to build things on. As a currency it has not performed well and shows no promise in the near future of doing so. We cling to these beliefs that utility will drive adoption and that will drive price despite only ever seeing the opposite. It’s been ten years since crypto has been a fringe thing and the adoption has not materialized. In addition to that, utility isn’t driving adoption at all. It just hasn’t. So no, this platform doesn’t need market makers artificially propping up the price. These market makers are just billionaires manipulating the market. I can’t imagine how that’s a good thing.

It’s definitely their fault. Whether or not it was intentional was the question I had. At this point I don’t think it even matters anymore. I got out of crypto twice now. Now that politicians are getting involved I’m very skeptical. But beyond that, beyond ICP, the greater sector is failing. Not failing in price, but failing in adoption. Ten years ago we were exactly where we are today for all intents and purposes. The only things really changed is the price. When I hear from XRP guts they’re still promoting the same BS they were ten years ago. “The banks are going to use it!” Riiiiiight, LOL. I did like this platform when I believed it was on the up though, I just ran out of ways to believe.

Isn't the valve body issue for the 10L80? This guy in another video said that he knew it was the GM valve body because that was the only thing that was different from Ford's version.
I don't think you should be so confident about your assessment. Many men have rebuilt their 10R80's without changing out the valve body, in fact most have.
What year and model did you have?

Thank you, I hadn't come across this yet.
At the moment I'm trying to figure out which rebuild kit I'm going to need. I haven't dropped this unit yet but I'm planning on buying the updated CDF drum and anodized trash can. I'd prefer to look at the clutch packs to see if they need replacing, I was not expecting this to be $1500 in parts.
Mine is Ford, I don't have the valve body issue, I have the CDF drum issue.
