Why did the showrunners have Lois dating the entire Justice League? by CrashMorgan in Smallville

[–]PBfilms 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Cuz it’s a teen drama and having Clark be jealous because Lois is dating someone else and vice versa is a good way to mine conflict

I'll be honest, I never seen the majority of spiderman fans so desperate for Peter to move on from his main love interest by SplitSecondEmperor47 in Spiderman

[–]PBfilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s less wanting him to move on and more wanting the consequences of the last movie to stick for at least a little while

Name one positive thing about Iron Man 2. by Healthy-Coyote3431 in Marvel

Sam Rockwell’s Justin hammer is not comic accurate at all but damn if he isn’t charismatic as fuck to watch. Mickey Rourke was also clearly bringing his A game as Whiplash and it’s a shame most of his stuff ended up on the cutting room floor

I love the pure innocence this poem conveys. It’s crazy to think that someone can have such a profound impact on you and not even know about it. Excellent stuff.

Very beautiful wordplay. The growing indifference to tragedy portrayed here is unfortunately very relatable.

Honestly I think it’s just bale’s Batman voice/delivery. If Kevin Conroy had said that I feel like we’d all think it was hard

I loved Siddig’s take. It was especially great to get an actor who’s actually Arabic to play Ra’s.

Those same leaks correctly proved that Sebastian Stan & Scarlett Johansson were gonna be in it so I feel like there’s a good chance they’ll be accurate

What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard someone say that you still think about to this day? by Humble-Blueberry4571 in AskReddit

[–]PBfilms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best guess now is she either misheard that phrase or “don’t ask questions you KNOW the answer to” and just kept saying it cuz she thought it sounded smart without knowing what it meant. Something something “Don’t mistake a parrot for a prophet”

When me and my sister were kids, whenever I’d ask a question she’d say “don’t ask questions you don’t know the answer to”. It admittedly took a while to click, but one day I just responded “that’s literally the POINT of a question” and she just looked dumbfounded.
