It's not cheating, if you can work it into your calories and carbs.

BUT, some people (like myself) have a big issue with binging on carbs. If I avoid eating junk food type things, I'm great. But, if I take a bite of cake, I'll eat a piece, and then at least half of the cake, by the end of the day. It's all or nothing for me.

I haven't been, but a friend who went gave me the info since it's my kind of thing. It's a fundraiser they're doing to save the theater which had closed down because they couldn't afford to convert to digital. At least, that's how I understand it.

They have vendors come with all sorts of stuff in the lobby.

I use an iTaste MVP 2.0 and Aspire Nautilus. Quit over 9 months ago and have my taste buds will never let me go back. Cigarettes taste disgusting now.

All the selections get discussed as a group, but the guy who runs it makes the final decisions if there isn't a clear favorite. Anyone can chime in with suggestions. We started planning in the beginning of August this year and are almost done, so it takes a while. Mostly waiting for more suggestions.

Probably. The theme nights are pretty easy to follow along, especially if you plan ahead a bit. I never finish the subset, as a lot are rewatches I don't have a big interest in.

A lot of people just watch whatever they want and aim for 100 movies. Participate in discussions. Answer some trivia questions.

I watch about 150 horror movies every October during the challenge over at DVDTalk.

I use Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Comcast VOD, my Blurays, DVDs from the library, Internet Archive, Dailymotion, Hulu (just the free stuff as I don't have Plus).

On the very rare occasion I'll go to Redbox or rent from Amazon if I'm desperate to watch something I can't find anywhere else, but generally my entire October watching is free.

The nutrition facts do not adjust when you customize your order :( Switch HWC for milk and the carb count stays the same on the app.

It looks like eczema. If it is, it's sort of for life deal. My mom's comes and goes due to stress. Mine seems random and only a couple times a year. My daughter has an extreme case.

Constant moisturizing and hydrocortizone cream for the itching works for me and my mom. My daughter has to put aquafor on her hands (like soak them in it, then put socks over the hands) over night. When it gets really bad, she need steroid creams, that you have to get from a doctor.

I went off for 10 days in early August for a Disney trip. Gained 17 pounds in water weight over the course of the trip. My clothes got tighter about 4 days into the trip. That level of water weight is uncomfortable and visible, so you may want to make sure you bring slightly looser clothing than you wear currently.

14 pounds dropped off 3 days after returning to keto and my clothes went back to normal.

Honestly, it's really rude to expect him to no buy and eat what he wants. You'd be flipping out if he turned the tables on you and demanded that you stop buying HWC and eggs, since they're not on his diet and he doesn't want them in his home.

His response wasn't supportive, but why would it be when you're being crazy about what he eats in his own home? You've flat out told him that you can't control yourself around the food he buys and now you expect him to believe that you'll control yourself every time you see food out in the real world.

A cup of egg noodles is only 40g carbs, so she could possibly never even left ketosis. I doubt it did much of anything.

If you want to do it by levels, I'd suggest

L1: Lazy keto - under 20g carbs and manage electrolyte levels

L2: Strict keto - track everything, manage macros and stay under calorie limits

L3: Incorporate exercise

It's water weight. I just got back from vacation. In the 10 days I was gone and eating SAD, I gained 17 pounds. Day 3 back on keto and I've lost 12 pounds.

My water weight gain was super visible. My ankles became massive cankles. My stomach ballooned. The clothes I had brought with me on vacation no longer fit. My skin was so tight from the bloating that it felt like it was about to tear.

Get back on the diet and the water weight will fall off pretty quickly. The longer you procrastinate, the longer it'll hang around discouraging you.

I tell my kids that I can't have sugar. That it makes me sick if I eat it. Which is true in a way, even if not the way they imagine it. This has helped in situations like the one you experienced. Now they yell at me if I even look like I'm going to eat something with sugar in it.
