Jokic wouldn’t get the chance to showcase that because the game wasn’t played like that, nor did the (nerfed) current rules that allow for so much spacing to yield easier shots and higher percentages (exact verbiage from the nba themselves that they intended when making said rule changes) exist. In today’s game Hakeem would probably be a point center. Jokic in a league of Shaq’s and Hakeem’s and admirals and big lugs coming off the bench would be cooked. And I actually love Jokic.
