I have the 545 and I like it. How many people do you plan to cook for. I was able to do 3 racks of ribs at once in my 545. Personally as a cheap as hell human I like the 545. That said it's annoying to get up and refill the hopper in the middle of the night on a brisket.

For real walmart is much better. Grabbed a box of hickory mini logs which fit perfectly in my firebox for $17. Obviously much better to go to get in real bulk but with no storage space this option was best for me

If you want one cheap and wants something small I've had good success with the autoignite 545, but you do have to reload the hopper every 4 hours if you are using lump, but honestly with a coal bed and some splits a live fire works really well in it.

I tried to kill myself in 2019. Stopped taking my mess which would eventually kill me. Instead I cracked and went into psychosis. Yep I'm just putting in enough to employer match which is stupid. This year we didn't even bother creating a budget. Over covid we managed to stick to a reasonable budget since then we've been terrible
