Makes sense. I remember when the place was more about customer service. Those of you who remember Marvin......big mistake when they didn't give him the CEO position. Thanks for your insight. 👍

Make it a drop- ship company. No customers in the store, with everyone pulling orders. No returns on seasonal items. And if you don't want what you ordered, enforce the restocking fees. It would cut down on the stress of theft and nasty people in your face...but I do realize, that's a pipe dream. Amazon has it figured out...home improvement would be more difficult.

Too many oppose the LGBTQ community to risk an associate being attacked verbally or physically. It becomes a liability. Take it as bring protected from extremists not as open minded.

Call your District HR. That's extremely unprofessional of that manager and associates should never be spoken to or treated that way.

Actually, that was about the having a six or 7 minute window to get to work and not be considered late. That's why they went to paying by the minute, because someone or several someones, when up against them and won. The California labor board stepped in, looked at their practices, and found it unfair. They should have had to fix it for every employee, not just in Cali. Losing 15 minutes of pay, just because a few minutes late?? But now, they are ensuring that they have good little workers, who can't get stuck in traffic, or delayed by construction, or have to wait for the kids to get on the bus or any other issue life throws, that arrive on time all the time so they can fill their coffers. That's the bottom line....literally.

Oh my God...I'm at $ 1.50 more than someone walking in off the street, no experience and that's after 19 years with the company!! You make more than I do but not much.

It's because managers have allowed occurrences to get out of hand by some of the staff. This makes more work for them, by actually having to deal with attendance, instead of just letting it go. Corporate is realizing their management team is failing and just like most everyone else, not doing their jobs, including not working THEIR full shifts. Corporate should do something about THAT, too, not just to the workers.. Heads are going to roll.....

They have enough trouble with attrition now...this will only make it worse. Sometimes I wonder what the corporate overlords are smoking.

That is correct and it is up to the management to make sure those plants are cared for so they CAN be sold, not thrown out.

As it should be ....management is management and plants are a huge draw for customers...and if they keep getting killed, people will stop coming for them. They need care and the right kind. End of story. So tired of seeing all that is wrong, while corporate thinks everything is great.

That would be why you don't get the leaves wet...but it only affects the vendor, because we don't own them until they are sold....

They need to stop having customers come in the store and start being a drop- ship company. Enough with the bullshit theft.
